Friends, just wanted to check if any of you have applied to CIC from within Manitoba, Canada after getting approved for MPNP locally ? I am curious to know the processing times in this case. I have heard it takes significantly less time but it may be rumors. Can anyone confirm on this? Thanks!

Yes tinni and a lot of forumite have applied to CIC.You can check the spreadsheet.

Hi all,

My employer did not mentioned wages in a job reference letter, does it make any problem ?
Because its a small NGO who run by charity trust and im getting only 5000 indian Rs a month.
But employer refused to mentioned it on a letter due to some management problem.

Please advise me...

..i just got my PPR today (June 17, 2014)

Passport will be sent tomorrow coz i just read the email..if only i read it earlier might as well will send it today..

my ecas status changed into in process on June 9, 2014 and although i received an invitation email for CIIP yesterday.... im getting nervous because i still dont have any PPR yet. is this process normal?

got an email from mpnp regarding my application.my sponsor was interviewed lst march.they are trying to contact me for further info so that they will be able to give their final decision but they wasn't able to contact me.but they give me 2wiks to contact them..question?do u have any idea what will they ask upon calling them?who has the same situation as mine?thanks!!!

They wl ask u the questions abt ur job..education..ur family...any relatives or friends in canada...how u met ur sponsor...since how long do u knw him... how do u think ur sponsor wl help u ... thus, everythng u wrote in sp1 and sp2.. ur answers and sponsorz answers shud be same.. talk to ur sponsor first and discuss abt his interview... and then calll mpnp

It did not happen to me (yet), but it happened to my aunt. She is a 2012 applicant. They sent her an email to call them on a particular date as they are about to give a final decision on her application. These are only some questions that was asked (i cannot remember the others):
1. The economic status of her sister in Vancouver
a. Where they live, do they own a house or do they live in an apartment
b. How long have they been in Canada
c. What do they do for a living
d. Why did she choose Winnipeg over Vancouver
2. How can she contribute to the labour market (since that she is already more than 50 years old during the interview)
a. What are her advantage and potentials for employability
3. What she had been doing these past years after she retired (she had an early retirement with her previous employer which she had been working with for the past 28 years)
b. She was asked to send email with her recent certificates, employment contracts and consultancies
