Hey ya! I am becoming agitated. I applied September 2nd earlier than some people whose status have changed to "assessment pending" mine is still reading "received". Please pray for me too ooooo. Or does it matter the date SP2 was submitted as my sponsor submitted last day in September. The good Lord shall perfect all things in Jesus name.

Just continue to be patient and sooner or later you'll see your status will change

I also applied at the end of September 2013 and my Sponsor submitted SP2 at the end of the following month - just in time for the deadline but my application has been slowly moving. Just know that at this point of time they are still pre-assessing your submitted documents and when done your status will change to "Assessment Pending". Please continue to pray that your documents will be successfully pre-assessed.

Before you wait pls make it sure that med results was trully sent by med clinic to CEM via emedical. Then if ok just wait your ecas change to med rcvd.....next is in process. Sometimes they ask documents at this stage.
Take note that single apps is different from family apps. Single apps is more faster than us or group apps.

congrats on your visa, munde! i have already called st. luke's global last friday and they said there was no problem with our medicals and that they will send the results yesterday (Monday).i was quite shocked because it's more than a month since our medicals and yet they haven't sent it. i didn't complain though. today, there's still no update on our ECAs status, i guess it will take them days to update. crossing my fingers that no additional documents will be asked and that everything wll be smooth sailing. congrats to everyone who has completed. see you all in manitoba!

just to inform the forum that according to st lukes global they have already sent our medicals on May 8, 2014. still no change in my ecas status :-[

we had our medicals last april 3, 2014 and when i called up st luke's global last may 8, ours hasn't been forwarded yet! maybe because we applied as a family. i just do hope that they did send the results yesterday. i guess i have to follow up again tomorrow. maybe your ecas will update this week canadadreamer75. i am praying for everyone's luck

I don't know if it is safe to purchase ticket online via credit card. I haven't try online purchase on anything. But try to check the website Directflights.com to have an idea. The cheapest that shows were

All Nippon Airways MNL-NRT-ORD-YWG
Cathay Pacific MNL-HKG-YVR-YWG
Philippine Airline MNL-YVR-YWG (fastest from MNL)

I haven't try to check in any travel agency.

Does anyone in the forum used online purchase? What site? Thanks.

Hi Satindsi,

I stop waiting and checking after 6 months. I told myself if it comes, it comes. Then after 8 months, my sponsor called me that they got an interview regarding my application, few days later, my status was change to Assessment Completed. Now I'm on a waiting stage again and checking also at our local post office for a possible letter from MPNP. Once I have it, then I have just completed stage 1.

Lots of waiting. But it will come at the right time for all of us in Gods Will. Think Positive....

Status is still appearing "RECEIVED"

Hello! Update today. I got an email from CIC Manila, medical request form will be emailed within 72hours. Additional requirement is FBI Clearance for me and my husband. Do they mean NBI clearance and is just using FBI as generic term? Thanks and I hope you can help me with this inquiry.

Kindly update my status as well.

I don't know about the 'FBI'... Should be yours criminal records I think... depending of your living country. Does it have more requirements, about criminal records or related subject?

thanks crix_11 . i have tried some travel agencies.. so far the lowest is 950USD (PAL) anyhow will keep on looking.. thanks for the suggestion

You send your part SP1, and your Supporter will receive an email, to send the Part 2, only him can send SP2. After that the program will send to you the AOR is a number that indicate they receveid... After that you need to wait... You can check the next staus on the forum spread sheet:

Did you try to check your Application Status? Over there you can see your progress. Also is important, if you can tell us the the status, in order to update your info over here:
