hi guys, i received my mpnp file no. in November 2013 and i sent an email to manitoba authorities regarding the status of my application and they replied
The application has been received and is placed in queue for assessment.

Hello,

My aunt's application for MPNP was denied and here is the reason (She is a 2012 applicant):

"Applicant has satisfactorily demonstrated the ability and intent to establish successfully in
Manitoba and there were no retention issues identified" - Answer is "NO"

What could be the reason why she was assessed this way?
- Is it because she has a sister in Vancouver? (But her MB spportter is also her sister)
- Is it because her settlement plan wasn't strong enough
- Is it because she was already 58 yo and the point she got in Age is 0? (But she is a PHD)

Please help me.

Take note if you are belongs to skilled level O, A & B in an occupatioanal list you were entitled to be exempt.

I have a question, my NOC is 2131(civil engineer) and my ielts will expire this coming august, i have not received my LOA yet so does it mean that i don't need to take ielts again if my LOA will arrive after the expiry date of my ielts?
Can i just attached my ielts copy even if its expired just to show that i have taken ielts before i apply to mpnp?

Some forum mates adviced that we need to take ielts once its expired so I am now confused?
Pls help shed some light on this issue for the benefit of our forum mates who's ielts is about to expire like mine.

Thank you for your email. As per Citizenship and Immigration Canada's requirements for permanent residency, proof of approved English test result is only required for all applicants under NOC C or D. Since your occupation is not under that NOC, you do not have to submit an approved test result. However, in case the visa post ask you to provide later on during assessment, you must comply with it.

Tnx Munde..when you submitted your PR app in Manila,did they require you to provide any proof of english proficiency since you did not submit your ielts results.tnx..
