Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing ok. Me and my wife are currently working in SG and our sponsor just received a call from the Manitoba Government last week. I guess we are now waiting for the LOA. My question is, do I still need to take the IELTS again since it expired last FEB. I submitted my application with my IELTS still valid. Will the CIC accept the expired IELTS? Just in case we get the LOA, what are the requirents do we have to do before submission to the CIC? We want to be prepared because we feel that we might need to go back to the Philippines just to take care of some docs. I hope you guys can answer my questions. thank you!

it might cause unnecessary delays in your application if your IELTS is expired. the CIO Office will still review your application documents and IELTS is still an important requirement in CIO. Since your still waiting for your LOA it would never hurt to have a new IELTS ready

Do not take any risk ,
it will take delays in your application, CIO not going to process your file if your IELTS is expired they will ask u to submit new one or may be they return your application ,due to lacking of document.

why would you add real estate properties or investments if your cash in the bank is sufficient enough? they would require you to submit other unnecessary certificates if you do so.

Just in case we get the LOA, what are the requirents do we have to do before submission to the CIC? Look up for CIC Checklist and it will prompt you to a Canada website. There are about 15-20 items that you need to provided them. Make sure to follow the checklist instructions strictly or CIC will deem your application incomplete and it can lengthen your timeline.

We want to be prepared because we feel that we might need to go back to the Philippines just to take care of some docs. I hope you guys can answer my questions. thank you!

Just want Ask do i need to answer the description like in cash do i need to tell that the money was deposited in 2 banks?To proove you have the specified cash amount of CAD24,200.00 you need to upload your bank certificates. This means you would need to upload two (2) bank certificates.
In real estate? As proof, you need to upload the current market value of your real estate property and the a copy of the CTC bearing your name and that of your spouse.
In investment? Same as above, upload supporting document to the amount you stated.

As it is true you have enough cash to support your Settlement Funds, you might like to strengthen it by including your proof of assets and investments. If you'll declare the combined cash, assets and investments (total CAD59,415.00) then in my view you need to upload documents supporting these amount.

In some threads I read that it is good to have a strong SP1 to succeed. In the end you decide which is best for your application.
