just had our medicals today April 24 at St Lukes Global. My husband had extra lab exams for hepa due to his tattoo and serum creatinine due to his medications for cholesterol. Hoping for the best!! May God Bless us all with good luck!!

Hello Seniors,

Following my LOA approval from Manitoba, I'm about sending my CIO application package latest April 30. In preparation for sending my application package, I obtained a bank draft in Canadian dollars on March 22. However, reading through the Application Guide, it states that one must obtain the bank draft not more than 30 days prior to sending the application to CIO. In my case, sending the application package by April 30 implies that I got my bank draft 39 days prior to sending it to CIO. From your experiences, do you feel that I need to visit the bank to get the bank draft reissued or I should just send it with its current issue date?

Your kind advise will be most appreciated.

Thanks. But my worry is it's been 2 weeks but until now she didn't receive it. Is there any way we can request for a copy?

your sponsor could always call MPNP and request for another copy but i advise to wait for a week or two, it might have been only delayed ;D

how much did it cost you for the extra lab test?

it was Php 2700 for the hepa test and another Php 470 for the creatinine, (in my opinion the price is twice as expensive from a normal hospital )

Have some queries ..
1. Its been 6 months now but have not heard anything from immigration . why there nomination process is so slow , is there any specific reason for this.
2. My husband is a main applicant and his ILETS has expired in November 2013. does he needs to give ILETS exam again for the application under CIC.

Don't need to push the panic button. Some waited for weeks to months to change the status to "Medical Received" so I don't think you need to worry.

Still no update on my medical status, any suggestions ?
