how much time is it mandatory for us to stay in manitoba?

what can happen if we move to other state before the end of that time period?

The next email you will received is the AOR from CIO. No confirmation from CIC that your application was received. You will only check it with your courier if CIC already received it.

Wait for a couple of weeks. Too early. Check our spreadsheet to have an idea of how many days till the applicants received the AOR.

You are required to live, work and settle in Manitoba permanently. Let's wait for others advise regarding on this.

I was advised with the same thing before here in the forums.. coz im waiting for a confirmation also back then.. they will only send a confirmation on the email add ur sponsors used.. not with the applicant.. i know this by experience..

how much time is it mandatory for us to stay in manitoba? I think 3years to enable you apply for your citizenship.

what can happen if we move to other state before the end of that time ? it will affect subsequent applications from your sponsor which I think it won't be fair on your part. Secondly, when you default in your obligation to your original province, you might likely have some setback in your citizenship application from another province.

I am new on this forum. It is nice reading all your contributions. As for me i submiited my application by mail 15th of May 2013. I have not heard from MPNP and i have not received any file number from them. A friend submitted his application online in September and got his file number thesame day. What could have happened? Who knows what could have happened pls? hope to hear your views soon. Thanks

i agree with you mayoress. this was one consideration that i had to clear out with my supporter. for all of us who had a nomination through PNP because of our supporter, we need to settle down permanently in the province, if not, our supporter might become ineligible to support in the future. we are on their file already.
