Hi All,

Our tracking Sheet looks better...thanks to the one in-charge

I have noticed that some applicants have received a confirmation on the SP2 being submitted as per our Tracking Sheet. Is this because your sponsor submitted the SP2 online? My FS application was sent online. However, my sponsor opted to hand the SP2 directly to Manitoba office with file number written on it by the receiving party herself. We don't have any transmittal. I hope this won't cause any problem.

Waiting for our application status is really a pain..ugh! Anyone in our batch got a sponsor's interview lately?

It wasn’t that long - was between 15 to 30
minutes. It's mostly on what has been written on
your application, settlement plan 1, settlement
plan 2, relationship with you, the history and stay
of your supporter in Manitoba as well as your plan
in Canada and how the Manitoba supporter intends to ensure that the plans come to reality.

For example a family friend ofour will nominate me and my husband
in manitoba, will there be a big effect on rejection if
my brother is in toronto?
However we really prefer to stay in manitoba.
How can we prove it?

Can my husband apply instead of me as principal sponsor
Because he doesnt have any direct relative in canada?
Will that be considered?

@ Tweety thanks for reply, But what if I will Edit the account address to my permanent address on same salary account? I have asked the bank persons. They will change the address to my permanent address, company address will be vanished and new address will be same as passport. Is this good way?

Have you tried to email MPNP? It is better to know the answer directly from them.

I submitted and received AOR on March 22, 2013, when will i expect interview of my sponsor?

Hello

If you will check the spreadsheet of your batch, Oluspe's sponsor got interviewed after 116 days from the time he receives the AOR.

Check the spreadsheet and include the link in your signature space to access easily. Refer to the 4th post in page 19.

May I ask if you are under GS or FS? Also did you submit online application thru mpnp website?
If yes, may I ask if you had also submitted self-assessment form?

I am asking above question coz I submitted my applicaiton mid April 2013, GS, and I just learned from another applicant that they had submitted self-assessment form which in My application thru mpnp online when I submitted does not require the self assessment form.

Regarding your sponsor interview, from other forums it says around 4 months.

Hello

If you applied online, you'll get it same day or the next 2 days, the most.

If you applied by mail or if it was handed directly to MPNP Office then it will take months. Based from last years timelines under GS is 4-6 mos. But I hope it will be less waiting time this year after clearing backlogs.

Anyway, I have some questions and I hope you guys can help me out -

- marriage contract. marriage is contracted abroad, and not yet registered to NSO. is it ok to submit the MC that was issued from the city hall on where the marriage took place?
If you can't provide the document/s required, include an explanation letter.Submit the one that was given to you as proof of your marriage in that country.

- husband is US LPR. is it possible to not include him in the application? cause it is just me that is going to migrate there in Canada. do i need to provide my husband's information (educational background, employment, etc) even if he is not joining me in Canada?
Since he is your spouse, then you can include him as your dependant. I believe you still need to include those. You may also give MPNP an email to clarify things. mpnpsupporter @ gov.mb.ca

- about the police clearance - do I need to submit PC from all of the countries I have resided? or just from where i am currently located?
For MPNP application, you don;t need to submit PCCs from countries you resided for 6 mos or more. You will be needing it when you apply for PR Visa once you got the nomination.

- i have certificates of employment but they contain just the details about the position, start and end dates of employment. about Job description, is there some sort of a template that has to be followed? please share if there is any. reason for this is that the HR might not really entertain me quickly cause they will still have search for the JD for my post.
Certificate Of Employment containing the information you stated will suffice. For JD, if they can not really provide you, you can make your own and let them sign it. You must also provide an explanation letter for it. That's why it is better to have the one that is issued by the company as it has logo which I believe should be included in COE and JD.

There will be other questions - maybe I will encounter them when i will start my online application
