Hi Druce,

I FELT VERY SAD TODAY, RECEIVED REFUSAL LETTER - I WAS WORRIED BEFORE ABOUT MY IELTS BUT THE REASON OF REFUSAL IS JOB EXPERIENCE . THE POINT FOR IT IS 0 -
INTERVIEWED TIME I TOLD THE OFFICER, MY PREVIOUS COMPANY ALREADY SHUTDOWN THEY WILL NOT ABLE TO CALL THEM ANYMORE, AND SHE ASKED ME TO PROVIDE A LETTER SAYING ABOUT THE CLOSING OF THE PREVIOUS COMPANY.

I GAVE THEM MY NEW COMPANY LETTER AND CONTACT NO, ITS MY OWN COMPANY.. BUT THEY DIDN'T CALL MY OFFICE FOR REFERENCE , I DON'T KNOW WHAT SHOULD I DO, SHOULD I DO APPEAL OR RE-APPLY, DO I NEED TO WAIT 6 MONTHS MORE? AND ONE MORE THING MY SUPPORTER TOLD THE OFFICER THAT I HAVE RELATIVE IN ONTARIO, MY MOTHER COUSIN IS THERE BUT HE CANNOT SPONSOR ME FOR PR.

I REALLY NEED ADVISE FROM YOU GUYS, WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW

My advice to you is to contact MPNP offices or ask your sponsor to go to their offices in person. Explain the situation to them again and ask how this could be resolved. This is what I would have done. It is clearly just a case of misunderstanding. Do you have any proof of working for the old company that closed down? Like pay slip / proof of payment from them? Maybe listings online or a website listing their contact details. I am sure if you provide MPNP with solid proof and everything checks out they wont just refuse.

I provide all documents they request..if i do appeal they will accept or not, how many percent will success..i wait for so long but this decision really make me down

Hi umerfarooq72, unfortunately I don't have the answers to these questions. Maybe you must source some additional documentations that better proofs your statements before making the appeal. I think if you just submit all the same documentation you will receive the same outcome.

I sympathize with you but count all disappointments as a blessing in disguise. Cheer up, in no time 6 months would be year. My only concern is that you have a relative outside manitoba. They may keep that info in your file, may be you try some other province. I wish you all the best.

My friend Althea, aka Govender, received supporter interview last week and her status changed from "pending" to "in process".

She is a lecturer at a University here in South Africa. Her IELTS score is high though, I think 8.5 or 9 as her native language is English. She applied 2014 May or June, I am not that sure.

I will keep you updated if she informs me of any updates.

Applicant is eligible to apply to the MPNP = YES
Applicant has sufficient points for consideration (60+) - NO
Applicant has satisfactorily demonstrated sufficient funds - YES
Applicant has satisfactorily demonstrated the ability and intent to establish successfully in
Manitoba and there were no retention issues identified - NO

Reasons:
Application guidelines that can be found on www.immigratemanitoba.com clearly indicate that the Manitoba
Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) may not approve an application if the program officer is not satisfied
that the applicant meets the MPNP criteria and has provided truthful, complete and correct information in
support of their MPNP application. Specifically, you have insufficient points for consideration under the MPNP,
mainly because you have not submitted sufficiently detailed and credible documentation regarding your
employment in the last five years. In addition, there was a discrepancy in the statements made by you and
your supporter. Consequently, the program officer was not satisfied that your ties to Manitoba are stronger
then the ties you may have to Ontario, which you previously visited. As a result, your application for nomination
by the Province of Manitoba cannot be approved

I dont think they will accept my appeal, even though my supporter has been misunderstanding about my relationship with the people in Ontario who have no way to support me to settle in that province where he lived,

Lost hope for Manitoba and Canada, wasting money and time in this 2 years.
