MPNP Application Batch 2013

June is almost finished. Any updates from 2013 FS applicants?

I can see that most FS applicants have sponsor interview in 3-4 months. Mine is approaching 5 months and still hear nothing from them.

My application is for a family of four, a couple and two children. Could this be a reason why it takes more time for MPNP to assess my documents? Or is there any chance that I am missing something? Any thoughts from seniors please?

Yes, on 25 Jan 2013 my friend (Sponsor) submitted my file personally at CIC - Winnipeg. My file included all the necessary documents except Medical and PCC.

My friend called CIC in April and they replied - 'We're still going through the files submitted in October 2012'
He again called them on 10 June. This time they refused to give any info.

God knows why they don't give generic info....

according to info you mentioned, if they were going through October cases in April then it will go like this.
November cases in May
December cases in June and January cases in July. It mean that Jan applicants can get their sponsor interviews in July.

Received AOR / file # on June 2nd 2013
SP2 handed on June 26th 2013

please someone update my timeline or add in the appropriate sheet ...
one tip . To all applicants who are hesitated whether MPNP received SP2 or not !! You can call them and ask them by ur file # as I did last night .

Hello Everyone!

Just want to share this...
I've sent my online application(MPNP under Family Stream) last November 2012.
I received the LOA through snail mail on March 23, 2013 dated February 27, 2013

I already sent my PR Visa application last May 23 but until now I haven't received any confirmation
of receipt. After how many weeks will they inform me of the receipt of docs? Is that thru email or what?

hi....yong sa amin, march 7, 2013 natanggap sa Nova Scotia yong Application package namin....April 17 kami nakareceive ng acknowledgement receipt....so by now siguro may AOR kana...

The MPNP is based on a bilateral agreement with the Government of Canada which requires the province to thoroughly and consistently pre-screen all applicants to ensure that each nominee has a clearly demonstrated potential to become a successful economic immigrant to Manitoba.
This is why the MPNP processes the strongest applicants first by selecting those with confirmed employment, job-ready English, training and work experience indicating potential for employability and/or strong family connections.
Manitoba cannot guarantee processing times for any application because each application is assessed on its own merits and each requries follow-up with applicants and supporters to ensure program integrity.
Applicants who use the online application tool receive expedited processing.

None that I know of. This only means that my sponsor's interview is due very soon. I gave up comparing others' timeline to mine. It doesn't make me feel any better.
