I do not know shall i attach copy of the letter or the original as letter itself says the original while checklist says copy !!!

In my case, I only sent a copy and already have my AOR and MR. So, no need to send the original. Just follow the document checklist by CIC diligently and you should be fine. Good luck.

Can anyone helped me about to "How we get Police Clearance Certificate from Australia & UK". I was in UK on study visa & my wife was in Australia on Study visa.

I just filled in my police certificate clearance form for the UK and will courier it in couple of days. You will require to log on ACRO website for the UK and down load the form. An example of how to fill in the form is also attached for assistance. I jest prepared a bank draft of £128 as the fee where I have selected the premium and courier service. It can cheaper but will take longer to reach your destination. Hope this helps.

This is correct. In my case, I tried to save 20-30 pounds by providing my cousin's address in UK to ACRO (http://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx). My PCC was sent to my cousin who in turn sent me the documents via DHL as it only costs 35 pounds instead of the 65+ pounds asked by ACRO. But that also depends on your country where you are at, so check the cost of DHL or FedEx to your country first if it's cheaper than ACRO's courier.

Additionally, I wanted my cousin to send me other documents too.

I followed the instruction of MPNP and sent the original. I did not hesitate sending the original because just like you I wanted to be on the safer side.

But, as tabs179 said, she sent a copy and it was accepted by CIC anyway.

BTW tabs179 is a sister and not a brother ;D ;D ;D

Like GKarl said, it doesn't really matter. I followed CIC because those are their rules, not MPNPs.

Either way, they are both acceptable. You just won't get your LOA original copy back.

Thanks GKarl, am doing ok after surgery, will have my follow-up tomorrow. I am just waiting for my medical clearance from my doctor and I will have my medical by next week. I want it over and done with before Christmas. As I still need to renew my passport after that.
