intended occupation : college instructor
wife: N/A
additional documents :Fresh IELTS as the previous one was 2 years old/ bank statement/letter from the employer which I submitted on 29th of October.
My brother is my endorser .
I got notified last night(which is April 29) that my documents were received. So hopefully interview will be held pretty soon.

Hope my answers shed some light regarding your questions. I have answered them to the best correct way as much as I can but you can still research and wait from others. HTH...=)

Hi everyone! Im just new in this forum and i have many questions in mind i hope somebody will help me so i can start preparing my documents soon under GS. Please please help me. Thank you in advance.

1. Im separated for 6 yrs. but not in papers. Do i still have to submit his requirements with us or just me and my daughter only?-You don't need to submit his requirements, but you have to submit an affidavit of some sort showing that you are not living together for how many years. For your daughter, you have to submit a form that his father is willing to let her go with you. I think there's a form pertaining to that but i'm not sure what exact form it is.

2. Is HS diploma included in my application or college diploma & transcript of record only? Do i have to notarized & red ribbon all of those?- For online application, you don't need to notarized or red ribbon. You just have to scan and attach the documents. HS diploma and college diploma and TOR are included.

3. Is it ok if i mail my complete documents to my sponsor then she will be the one to submit it to manitoba office?-Application is done online, I'm sure i read somewhere that they are not accepting mail application anymore, but i can be wrong.

4. Were going to submit our requirements on the 3rd week of March 2014. Am i going to expect a call from them regarding with our application within 3-4 months? coz were planning to have a vacation to japan on March till June?-No one is really sure when will they call or if ever they will call you the applicant, but definitely your sponsor will be called upon for interview.

5. Ill be ending my contract with my current job this Dec 2013. Ive been here for 4 yrs. and 3 months now and by January next yr. i will be working in a new company and im suppose to send my application on march to my sponsor. Do you think it can affect my application?-It says in the website that 5 years of work history is required but that does not mean gained from one employer only. You can add all of your employment years and should add up to a minimum of 5 years.

6. Is it 10 yrs. working experience or 5 yrs. because i only have 5 yrs. work experience in total?

7. My fund in the bank is not enough but my sister will lend me money to complete the said required funds. are they going to notice that? or they just after the required funds only if i have it?-They will check your ending balance in the six-month period. It should meet the required funds.

Hi Everyone,

I was reviewing our application timeline and I noticed most of those GS applicants with LOA are either I.T. professionals or from the Federal Skilled Trade profession.

Now I am beginning to understand that MPNP prioritize applications of certain occupation or profession.

Please let me know if I got it right.

Also, today December 1, 2013 marks my 8 years and 3 months of waiting and hoping for the day to come for me to be able to live and work in Canada. I am feeling the agony of waiting again.

God willing the approval will be anytime now. God willing.
