We have heard of many delays in VO Manila, but yours seems surprisingly long. Have you contacted CIC (IRCC) to ask about the status of your application? Sometimes that helps push things back into motion.

For those of you who are still in the provincial nomination stage: we learned recently that there is a big backlog of applications made between 2016 and December 2017, but they are almost done with that backlog, and anyone applying in 2018 will see quicker processing times.

If you applied long ago and your application is still not progressing, they recommend that you send them an email to inquire about your status. For more general information, your connection in Manitoba could go to their office to ask general questions. They do not take phone calls. Hope this information is useful, best of luck to everyone!

Question: How will I know if my documents have been received by the CIC?

As per the DHL tracking number, it's been delivered but I want to make sure if my documents was received by the right person.

They usually don't let you know they receive them, but they do let you know once they reviewed the documents. Check out everyone else's timelines, and if you end up waiting too long after your documents were delivered, compared to most people, contact them and mention the tracking number and the fact that you got a confirmation of delivery

Hi all, would you know whether Manitoba will still consider Exploratory Visit if spouse of principal applicant has relatives (but no contact, for decades) elsewhere in Canada? Appreciate your input.. Thanks in advance!

Hi I declared myhighest education is 2 years post secondary it should be Three or more years..Do I need to decline my LAA?
