Hi go north!

It wouldn't be much of a concern regarding your children being registered at the start of the school year kasi whichever month you arrove here in Winnipeg you could register your children. Let's say you arrive here December, the school you chose will probably accept your children given that they missed 2 months. Schools here are not very lenient about each child to start the school year because there are cases of families as newly immigrants, moving from a new province and other reasons.

Hi Ginoongliyans,

Kindly visit and check on this site for http://www.police.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm SG COC, last March I received a letter from CEM requesting me to submit a SG COC, attached also on the email the request letter from CEM stating the purpose why I needed the COC.

Pls. refer also on below snapshot of FAQ from SPF site for your reference


1. What is a Certificate of Clearance (COC)?

COC is issued to a Singaporean to certify that the named person has no criminal record within the stipulated period of time in Singapore.

Police are not obligated to issue a COC but have done so as a form of international cooperation since other countries provide similar documents as well. However, this service does not form part of Police’s core function. Non-Singapore Citizens who wish to apply can submit the appeal form together with the application form and relevant documents for consideration on a case by case basis.

2. How can I apply for a COC?

The applicant is required to produce documentary proof from a relevant consulate/immigration or government authority/educational institution stating that the production of the COC is required for a specific purpose. For example, you may produce the documents from a relevant consulate/immigration or government authority/educational institution requesting you to produce the COC to support your application. All documents are to be translated to English, if written in other languages.

3. I am residing overseas, how I can apply for the COC. Do I need to come back to Singapore?

Applicants residing overseas may submit their application via post with the required supporting documents and a bank draft or personal cheque (denominated in Singapore Dollar only) made payable through a financial institution with a subsidiary in Singapore for clearance. Alternatively, you may send a proxy to submit the application on your behalf with all the necessary documents.

Hello po. Nag apply ako nung may 14, 2014 under GE. 2 yrs na at assessment pending pa din ngayon. As a nurse yung nilagay ko. Nag work me ng 2004 to 2011 as a nurse pero nung 2011 to present call center ako nag wowork. Meron kaya connection nun kung bakit hanggang ngayon eh assessment pending pa din ako,.,.? Dpa natatawagan yung tita ko ko. Balak ko na ngang i give up tong application ko. Meron bang nakakaranas na hanggang ngayon assessment pending pa din?
