As long as he satisfied all the requirements in MPNP it would be fine. Take note that the assessment will be base on the merit of individual applicant. They will nominate first the strongest candidates. You may start building his online profile application, in that way he is ready in the upcoming opening of 2015 intake.

Hi,

MPNP assesses an application on the following factors:
-Language
-Age
-Work Experience
-Education
-Adaptability/Connection


As for your dad, I cannot say for sure. But let me share the case of my aunt. she was 55 when she applied but 56 when her file was processed (2013). But she got 0 points in age. Her application was denied. This is the content (part only) of the letter:

Dear Ms XXXXX: File #: XXXX

We are writing with reference to your application to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Your application has been reviewed and assessed according to program criteria, as indicated below. We regret to inform you that your application does not meet the requirements of the program, as described in our application guidelines.

Selection factors
-Age 0pts
-Education 20pts
-Work Experience 16pts
-Language 7pts
-Adaptability 12pts

Assessment Recommendation (Approval Requires "YES" for ALL Factors)
-Applicant is eligible to apply to MPNP YES
-Applicant has sufficient point for consideration (55+) YES
-Applicant has satisfactorily demonstrated sufficient funds YES
-Applicant has satisfactorily demonstrated the ability and NO
intent to establish successfully in Manitoba and there
were no retention issues identified


> But each case is different. Your dad may still apply for MPNP but if the outcome is the same as my aunts', I suggest you bring him to MB through another stream. I dont know what that is, i guess it's super visa for parents (CIC stage). That's what my friend did to bring her parents to Vancouver. Parents stayed for 2 years, went back to Philippines after that, then went back there again.

Hi everyone.. finally i can submit my mpnp application this year. Though i have few question ksi since im married pero wala kmi annulment. Seperated pa lng kmi and wala din divorce papers. Mging okay kaya sa application un legal seperation lng from philippines and dswd custody ng mga bata on my side. Any any advice regarding the application..

Nabasa ko sa thread na no need na ipa authenticate un tor and diploma? Kayo ba ano ginawa nyo

I understand that a child can NOT be a supporter of an applicant for the MPNP's general stream.

As a son-IN-LAW, am I eligible to be a supporter for my father-IN-LAW to apply for MPNP's general stream?

Dear all,
HAPPY NEW YEAR~!

we applied under MPNP-General stream in july 2013, however we received an ineligible letter this apr 2014 due to dual sponsorship where our sponsoring is sponsoring his relative???? as ive heard we need to wait for 18 months or let the relative arrives in Manitoba. questions :

a) in 2015, when can we re-apply in MPNP-General stream
b) can we also apply in express entry as I understand it processes very fast.

Is it really a valid reason to refuse an application
due to dual (2) application at the same time with a sponsor?? Im just wondering,
I sponsor my nephew and my sister.. And dont know yet the result ..
I got an interview last week for my nephew's application submitted January 14,2014..
Ive heard in some forums and i know some friends here
Who sponsored 2 applications at the same time and got approved!

Close relatives may support the application of more than one
skilled worker at a time provided they satisfactory demonstrate
the ability to do so..

Same case as my friend, she got separated but got the custody of the child, they are there now in canada. ok lang legal separation as long as you have the paperwork to back it up...with my friend they just asked why her husband was not joining them and she just told CIC the they were separated (there is a part in the application that would ask whom among the family would be coming with you)

yes no need for authentication naman, basta it is in english or translated by a certified transaltor. scan mo lang ng malinaw yung mag originals.

pano process po ng application kapag under family bracket bale yung kapatid ng mom ko sponsor ko... saang link po and under what category... or lahat po ba sa express enrty na?? dati kasi need lang is ielts general training db? kaya yun kinuha ko... ngayon po kaya magagamit ko pa din yung ielts ko na general training? thanks in advance
