Hi everyone!
I am new to this forum and just started reading some threads which I find really helpful.
My girlfriend and I are looking forward to applying for this program(MPNP) this 2014 with the help of a local agency here in the Philippines. We are currently at the stage of completing every document needed to launch the application - hopefully this August 2014.
Question, one of the establishments I've worked for as a restaurant supervisor is already closed and the Certificate of employment I have from them is dated 2012(Since i worked with the restaurant as a supervisor frm Apr '11 - 2012). Can I still use this in applying for the program? The certificate that I was able to obtain with this now closed establishment is a certificate detailing my Position, dates of employment and Duties and responsibilities. I am aware that the salary should be included but I am having a hard time tracking where the owner/my employer is to request for another certificate. Though, I have a copy of the establishments Business permit and a document from the DTI(Philippines) that i believe shows that this establishment had existed.
To add, I left that job to participate a Traineeship program in the US under a j1 visa and worked in a hotel as a front desk agent for 3 months(which i dont have to include since it's no longer 6 months), then transferred to another establishment in another state and worked as a restaurant server for 7 months. Can i also include this 7 month experience?
The 3rd party agency who is helping us said I am qualified for the program and preferred I apply for this instead of making our way to canada through studying(which also costs more than the MPNP due to tuition fees etc).
Thanks in advance everybody!
