MPNP Application 2014 for FILIPINOS

Hi Guys,

I just called IOM again para magtanong ng status (makulit lang po). And they've said na "Sir, as per checking po sa system naming. Hindi pa po namin sya nasusubmit sa CEM. Tawag po ulit kayo after 7 working days." Does this mean clear na kami? Wait na lang namin na magreflect sya sa ECAS? ??? : :-[ :-X :-\ :'(

haaaayyy... nakakalungkot lang isipin na kapwa pa naten ang nagbibigay ng hassle sten..hehehehheehe na compare ko lang ung experience ko dito sa ibang bansa na panel physician. nagpasched ako ng 1:30pm dumating ako ng mga 11:30am di ko kasi alam kung san ung lugar. wala pila walang hassle. organised lahat. nung wala pa pasyente, inuna na ko ni kabayan na front desk hanggang sa dulo ng medical ko ang smooth. after 2 days uploaded na ung ung result ko and after 3 days nag change na ko ng medical received. nakakalungkot lang isipin na ang labo talaga saten sa pilipinas... ang mahal ng mga additional test pero in the end negative naman ang result.
Ano kya ang problema saten.... sila pa ang tatawag kung na send na nila sa CIC unlike sa pinas na manghuhula ka kung talaga bang na upload na...

ang gulo nga nila... ang alam ko ang final verdict ung sa canada visa office na... ok na siguro ung medical result mo. ang problem lang wla pa siguro nag eencode nung result sa system kaya di pa forwarded sa Canada visa office.
Kung may problem naman siguro inform ka nila right away like nung mga iba nag may mga additional test.
ang gulo nga nila,,, dapat sila talaga ang nag iinform sa pasyente nila, kung may problem or clear na or na upload na... ang hirap kasi nung sabe nila na pag di tinawagan eh ok na...
like nung sken, inform nila ko na upload na kaya nag antay ako ng tuesday (kasi un sila nag uupdate ng ecas) then ayun MEDICAL RECEIVED na

Hi, sa IOM din ako nagpamedical, what they had told you is the same what they told me.. ang ibig nila svhin is OK na yung medical mo sa physician ng IOM but the final decision is from CEM physician, what they have to do is to prepare our medical exam and initial evaluation, Meaning despite your ecas status is medical received, it doesnt mean that you had already passed your medical exam. If IOM notice some findings in your medical exam, they will immediately notify you.. They had a timeframe of 7-14 working days, As long that they not contact you regarding to your health status, everything is fine.

Sana nga po maclear na kami kasi ika 7days na ngayon. May 1week pa ulit ng pagaantay. Pero I'll call them again maybe next week para sa 2nd follow-up. Sana may feedback na sila about dun. Im not sure, but they said if you undergone your medical to IOM and eventually they transmitted the result to CEM, usually it always OK. 7working days saturday and sunday are not included.. They will give advice for furtherance thru phone call.. Ganyan din pkiramdam ko dati.. but as long na sa sarili ko is wala naman ako dapat idoubt about sa health ko, eventually nagreflect sa ecas ko un medical ko.. I had my medical exam last March 9 and CEM received last March 24, 2016.. So dont worry.. God is always good.

I'd checked my ECA's just now, and status is still "in process", however, there's an added bullet regarding the correspondence they sent to me last April 26 (PPR: though it was not specified on the details).

kaya nga znarfier, dami ko nabasa na mga experince ng kababayan naten sa bansa naten na 'TEKA BAKIT GANUN?'
ang nasasaktan ako ung mga applikante na tulad naten na nag iinquire di man lang ma update ng tama. Ospital o staff ang kelangan tumawag, may additional tests man yan, ok ung resulta, o na upload na ung test result.
nakakalungkot lang....

You may be surprised to know it happens here also here:.
Dun sa clinic ng IME namin, and instructions are - "if we don't call you in <amount of time>, everything is OK. Don't call the clinic to follow-up test results, or to check if we have submitted them - we do not accept these calls." Walang notice, walang update. Sila ang tatawag, pag di sila tumawag, OK. Anak ng - anong klaseng assurance yun - paano kung di ko nasagot ang tawag? No news it literally good news ika nga. WTF?

So, after the time given (2 weeks), tinawagan kami - me findings na positive for HIV. So naturalmente - panic - Paano mangyayari yun - wala nakita sa unang IME namin (for a WP) sa Pinas and we know our health history from regular company APEs - negative! Only to find out na ang ginawa pala ng clinic (and most of them here) is the screening test only for antibodies/antigen, and not the confirmatory test. So go, gawin ang confirmatory test. Negative. All clear. Additional cost for the confirmatory test ($$) - di biru din yun (IME is not covered by health insurance in my province - another ).

Which we found out later, hindi nakaugalian/practice ng western clinics to do the confirmatory test in one sample. Unlike in what is commonly done sa ibang bansa, and sa IME sa Pinas - they do both tests immediately para conclusive ang test for HIV - if positive sa screening, gawin agad ang confirmatory test - then final results. Which I later learned na most of the time, maraming positive sa mga taga PH due to antigens na ang sintomas ay halos kapareho ng nga antibodies na nasa vaccines/immunization na ibinigay sa atin nung simula ng kabataan natin. False positive ika nga. Hindi rin kasi lahat ng tao rito nagpapa-vaccine - me mga ayaw, kaya di nila kultura na gawin ang confirmatory test ng HIV sa medical exams. Kaya malinis ang bloodwork namin sa Pinas all throughout, yet dito incomplete pala ang IME testing nila. Sinverguenza, tinamaan ng lintek, how shortsighted naman ng isang tinaguriang advanced country?

Just goes to show, it happens not onli in da PH. MHO

No worries. I haven''t preparing yet, I'll start my prep once I received my passport with a maple leaf on it

I was asked to provide my passport, 2pcs of photos (based on the specs they provided), and the signed Appendix B form within 30days.
