anyway, ask ko lang kung nacheck mo ba before maging in process ka, nag assessment pending ba muna? how many days/wks/ mos before nainterview sponsor mo?

My Timeline:

2015
April 30 -- Submitted my EOI
May 20 -- Received the LAA
May 29 -- Submitted my full application to the MPNP
May 31 -- Got the MPNP File No.
June 9 -- MPNP received my Manitoba Supporter's SP P2
Nov 9 -- Assessment Pending
Nov 16 -- Supporter received a voicemail from MPNP
Nov 17 -- Supporter returned the call of MPNP + MPNP interviewed me & my spouse for 22.5 mins! = Assessment in Process


From Assessment Pending to Assessment in Process = 1 wk

Kaya lang kabado ako... so for those who already received their LOAs, I would like to solicit for your thoughts and insights...

I know that most of you wasnt interviewed and only your sponsors were. So my question is for those principal applicants who have been interviewed by the MPNP and felt that during the interview you failed to recall exactly what you have written in your Settlement Plan specifically for the question: When did you meet/know your supporter? And when you were asked when was the last time you spoke with your supporter, your answer was different from what your supporter mentioned which you found out after the interview. Although I know that the rest of the questions we answered very well, but these 2 questions, I know my supporter and I didnt answer perfectly which made me think, oh my, I might not get the LOA! But I am hoping and praying that the program officer who interviewed us will nominate me and my family even if the interview was not perfect since there are still other factors in my application that are worthy of consideration.

Hey bro znarfier! don't worry please.. just pray and trust MPNP's system that they will give most importance to what matters more/ other factors on your application rather than your answers to those two questions..

Sir/Ma'am,
Just received a call from my sponsor from Manitoba that he has been called over the phone for an interview by MPNP. They have a lot of questions regarding my application. The interview was in the good shape as per my sponsor.
Is it 100% that I will receive the LOA? or do you have any experience given that the sponsor was already interviewed but didn't received LOA.

Hi dosty, I believe you will receive the LOA 10 working days (2 wks) after your sponsor was interviewed which will be 3rd Dec.

Im glad di na kayo ininterview. Kami kasi, our Manitoba supporter, my spouse and I were interviewed on 17.11.15. Kaya kabado din ako now while waiting for the result. I hope and pray that all will turn out well and sana we'll be nominated and have the LOA very soon!

I assume that you are the principal applicant and your MB supporter is your relative. In my case, I am the principal applicant and my supporter is my spouse's relative which is the reason why my spouse was also interviewed, plus the fact that spouse also have other relatives outside MB.

Dec 3?! Wow sana nga magkatototo yang sinabi mo. Mgandang birthday gift yan kung sakali dahil kaarawan ko sa arawna yan. hehehe
Oo nga mabuti na lang at hindi na ako nainterview. Yun din ang isa sa pinag aalala ko kasi baka di nila ako ma-contact dahil kadalasan nasa mga lugar na walang signal ako dito sa palawan. Yan din kasi ang worry ko na baka hindi kame magtutugma ng sasabihin ng sponsor kung pati ako eh mainterview din.
Mag isa lang ako principal applicantd, wala kasama. First cousin ko yung sponsor.
Huwag po kayo mag alala, pasasaan po ba at makakarating po tayo lahat sa canada.

july 26 2014 ako nag apply, nov 19 2015 na nainterview sponsor ko. Nung araw ng nov19 2015 nagcheck ako ng status "received" pa rin. Tapos nung gabi nagmessage sponsor ko sa fb na katatapos lang siya mainterview. Hindi ko nacheck status ko nung nov20 kaya di ko alam kung nagchange siya sa "assessment pending". Basta nung nagcheck na ko ng nov21 ay "assessment in process" na.

Hi andy108 - quota for MPNP is 5,000 nominations per year.

As to your second question about the market of your profession - i respectfully suggest that you do the research on this by yourself as people here have different professions, so you may not get as much answers on this. Perhaps knowing well the job market for your field in particular will pay off in formulating your own "Settlement Plan" once you get your invitation to apply (that is if you don't have one yet).

nagchange na po yung application ko from received to assessment in process pero hindi pa po naiinterview ang sponsor ko. okay lang po ba yun? kase po madalas nakikita ko assessment pending muna tapos iinterviewhin ang sponsor tapos magiging assessment in process. salamat po sa mga sasagot.

Meron po akong hernia. Ask ko lng kung need ko mag undergo surgery before going to medical?(kung sakaling makareceive n ako ng medical request)..
Kung d ako mag surgery at nagpamedical ako prior for VISA application, ma-aapprovahan prin po kaya yun?

Please help. I am really worried.

Based on what is provided on that page, one reason for inadmissibility is:
_health grounds – if their condition is likely to:
endanger public health or public safety, or
cause excessive demands on health or social services (some exceptions exist


Just check further on that link for more info.

I don't see any problem if you address your condition now. During medical proper, I think you would just need to provide a medical abstract and documentation of your surgery. You may want to wait for other comments from the group on your query.
