In the generic application form for Canada in the number 10 field current country of residence I can answer Philippines right because I'm a citizen there since I'm only here in Singapore for work. I started working here last may. My dependents won't come with me..

It's quite tough to reply on that one...actually your country of residence is Singapore at the moment but indicating that would result in your file ending-up in Singapore VO. Lying on the other hand can result in your application to be denied due to misrepresentation. I just wonder what others have done (who have their family living with them in the Middle East but have their application processed in Manila VO). In my case, I have written Country of Residence as Saudi Arabia and mailing address in the Philippines. I have indicated "MANILA" as the VO to process my application but CIO decided to send it to Abu Dhabi VO which is the nearest VO from the country of my residence which is KSA.

Better to let the members of this Forum know that they better choose St. Luke's over IOM.

Hi, going to send my CIC soon, and I want to know if they asked for any further documents after submission.

But I just started working here in Singapore this may. In my history of travel I will include there that I am working here in Singapore.. A lot of people told me that processing time in the Philippines is much more faster than other countries.. Did you try to transfer your visa office from Abu Dhabi to Manila? If ever they will forward my application here in Singapore I will ask for a transfer. Is that possible?

Hi lovely1124,

Our medicals were done on May 8, 2013 and was sent to CEM on June 18, 2013. Ecas showed Medicals Received on June 25, 2013.

Hi Guys
I am not sure if I already shared my timelines please update them since my meds have already been done Sept. 5, 2013 and my ecas status has changed to Medical reports received when I checked last Sept. 25.

Can anybody share the latest PPR updates? Thanks!

Is it 3 months from Medical Result Received status?

Yes, that's what I heard. Your ECAS should be 'In Process' by now

Hi Salbakuta,

I see that you recently received your visa, congratulations! It was a well deserved wait.

Can I ask what are the additional documents that the VO required from you to submit?

Thanks, tabs179

Hi rockmi!

Just wanna clarify something.

Regarding residency, i should say, it depends what is stipulated in your visa in Singapore. If it says, Permanent Resident or something to that effect, then for me it is just correct to say that your Country of residence is Singapore. Unless you are there for a Special contract and which does not Keep you there for a longer period of time.

Thanks... God bless!

Medical received and In Process na po kami.. Just checked our status in ecas a while ago.. Thank You Lord
