Congrats to all who received their LOAs! ;D

Ramcal - yes, you don't need to include a bank certificate with your CIC application. Just follow the checklist on the site and include only what is prescribed there.

Goodluck!

thanks...congratulations to all of us... ;D

so, if there's no need for the bank certificate, does it mean that CIC will no longer verify the money in our account? I am planning to uses the money for all my expenses and payment for this application. I might lose 20% of my money in the bank because of these expenses.

thanks you and God bless.

Checklist says that IMM 5406 should each be completed by the principal applicant, spouse, and accompanying dependants 18 years old and above.

Photo requirements are just for the members included in the application. These are not the same as passport photos, make sure to follow specifications as indicated in Appendix A.

hi ohanne, (i dont know if your from philippines)

i went to sta rosa laguna yesterday and i saw lots of people falling in line (around 500 - 800 people ) some do not have their numbers yet. so, we decided to go to other nbi area. we went to NBI, lipa city in Robinsons mall. i heard that they are already implementing the online application (gcash) . there is an agency handling the online application .then after that ,i went to nbi for fingerprinting and photo capture. in just 10mins or so, i already got my nbi clearance.

fyi ,only for those living in the Philippines and needs an urgent NBI clearance renewal.

also ohanne,

i know we have almost the same timeline, i read in the other topics that we dont need to provide another bank certificate? is this true?

Thanks Ramcal. I got mine at Duty free in paranaque and was given june 26 for release...so most likely before end of the month i will submit app. Did you put your destination is canada? Travel abroad is different from local purpose.

Re Bank account punjaban answered you queries already.

Keep me posted if you already submitted...thanks!

Hi! I read in the other threads that it is NOT advisable to use the money which you declared in your MPNP application. I am not well-versed with how CIC or each visa office conducts their checks, security or otherwise, but perhaps some of the seniors in this forum would know. Please wait for their expert suggestions.

God bless you too!

Hi! Yes, if you choose to pay via credit card stating your account info on the Fee Payment form (IMM5620E), you don't have to pay online.

Goodluck!

There is always a possibility that CIC/VO might request an updated bank statement especially if there is a one-time bulk deposit of funds in the account.

Yes foofoo, I've been waiting since last week and came across this sad development at the moment (Poutine posted it in the other thread). This has been the reason why MR is taking too long. As I said in the other thread, I hope that I will NOT LOSE the "A" in "WAIT" with this unfortunate (at least for us) happening.

I hope they still continue work. :-(

"As a demonstration of goodwill, and to foster a positive environment for talks with Treasury Board, PAFSO will unilaterally suspend all withdrawals of service on Friday, May 31 in advance of our return to the negotiating table, and on June 3 when negotiations take place. "
