I have included two columns to the track sheet. The first is the named "LOA (E) Date Letter is Received" and another named "Medical Received Status in Ecas". The later helps to know if our medical test was successful and there would be no need to re-take the medical examination again.

I hope it helps.

For all those that have received their LOA, kindly oblige me with the date of receipt of the physical letter either through your sponsor or at your country's mailing address.

Hi Emperor, I received our LOA on Jan. 24, 2013. Thanks.

AOR awaited from CIC

Hello Emperor/Tweety and everyone

My application as per DHL website was delivered to CIC NS on 18th Feb but I haven't recieved AOR yet and I paid fee through bank draft so I can't even see credit card statement as some of you have done.

So my question is that is it time to panic or you all reckon there is still scope of recieving AOR (today is 3rd April).
Or should i contact CIC to confirm about reciept and if yes, do you know any email id to contact them.

regards

As per current processing times, it will take 35 to 45 days to receive AOR from CIC after receipt of your application package. Based on this, your AOR should be due by now. It's worth to check your SPAM folder also. What is your VO? See the thread "Tracking Feb Application CIO", you can compare notes with fellow Feb. applicants.

Victory123 response to your post is correct. I got my AOR after 54 days. So there is no need for panic and try an check up your spam folder of your email account.

For being an active member that has been contributing to the forum and bring ideas to support the cause of this project, I give you plus one (+1) ;D ;D ;D

Thanks guys for the ratings. ;D ;D We are all here to help.

In the contrary, i have no idea if MPNP have sent the decision yet, i have followed tweety and emperor's advice to contact them to change my mailing add (though i did not mention the address cause i really want it to be sent here in our home and i do not want to bother my sponsor in sending it to me because he is a busy guy, i also mentioned that my supporter got the call and received AOR via email) and after 2 weeks they have replied and told be that i can email the updated address and they cannot provide the status of my app and once the decision has been made i will be informed by writing. Oh well, i have to extend my patience. ;D Not losing hope.

But what worries is that my i forgot to take into consideration that my supporter is studying and working at the same time though he has been in Canada for almost 12 years now. Do you think there is a bearing on that? TIA.

Waiting for the Wind

My nephew’s 10 year old son came for a visit one hot, July weekend. I was enticing him to stay inside by joining him in a Nintendo game. After being mercilessly defeated by a more experienced player, I suggested that we relax awhile. I collapsed into my favorite recliner to let my neck muscles relax and my ego recover from such a beating. He had slipped out of the room and I was catching a few relished moments of peace and quiet.

“Look, Alice,” he said enthusiastically as he ran over to the chair where I was recovering.
“I found a kite. Could we go outside and fly it?”
Glancing out a nearby window, I noticed there was not a breeze stirring. “I’m sorry, Tripper,” I said, sad to see his disappointed eyes, but thankful for the respite from more activity. “The wind is not blowing today. The kite won’t fly.”
The determined 10 year old replied. “I think it’s windy enough. I can get it to fly,” he answered, as he hurried out the back door.

I peeked through the slats in the venetian blinds to watch determination in action. Up and down the yard he ran, pulling the kite attached to a small length of string. The plastic kite, proudly displaying a picture of Batman, remained about shoulder level. He ran back and forth, as hard as his ten year old legs would carry him, looking back hopefully at the kite trailing behind. After about ten minutes of unsuccessful determination, he came back in.

I asked, “How did it go?”
“Fine,” he said, not wanting to admit defeat. “I got it to fly some.”
As he walked past me to return the kite to the closet shelf, I heard him say under his breath, “I guess I’ll have to wait for the wind.”

At that moment I heard another Voice speak to my heart. “Alice. Sometimes you are just like that. You want to do it your way instead of waiting for the Wind.”

And the voice was right. How easy it is to use our own efforts to accomplish what we want to do. We wait for the Wind only after we have done all we can and have exhausted our own strength. We must learn how to rely on Him in the first place!
