i want to know about ECAS means. how can i use it ?

Just wanted to update that my Medical was done on January 28, 2013. I sent my medical receipt & RPRF draft to CHC, London & my documents were received on January 31, 2013.

There is another column empty in my timeline i.e my documents were received by CIO, Nova Scotia on June 6, 2012. Kindly update that column too.

I need some advice and Help,


I would like to know if it is okay to contact or email the MPNP office to follow up the status of my applications, since I still don't have my AOR/file number would that be possible??. I submitted my application last November 4, so two days from now my applications would be 90 days with them....


Second question is: if they send an AOR/File number through snail mail, is there a due date for the request documents to be submitted?? since sending by snail mail it takes a lot of time to receive...

Did you apply online? OL application, within 48 working hours you will receive your acknowlegement and followed by file number.
It is okey for you to email them to follow up. They will reply to you in 7 working days.

be patient..it takes 3-5 months before getting the AOR, sometimes 6.. you can refer to the tracking list to enlighten you..emailing them is not bad idea but i believe it is premature to do that at this point in time...what normally happened was they are the one who initiate an email correspondence to the applicant..

patience is a virtue.

Don't worry dear ,,, ur cc will be charged after about a month from the day ur application was recd by CIO. And then after about 10-20 days, u will receive the acknowledgment of receipt if ur application is complete. So, don't worry and best of luck...

My credit card got charged 40 days after submitting my application and 54 days to receive a email (AOR) confirming that they have received my application and that it is complete for further processing.

Guess you can use that to assess the the timeline for getting a feedback from CIC.
