Hello tweet, good morning, we have some problem, last night our sponsor called that he received an e-mail from MPNP, asking for additional docs, one of this is the "updated letter of reference confirming duties and responsibilities from the company", meaning they are asking for a employment certificate with duties and responsibilities....? because the one we sent was just a simple employment cert. with no duties and responsibilities written on it, only the position and work tenure, and the company is located in Malaysia, how can we get such docs if we have no more contact on the company and the deadline of submission is this coming Feb.04? My idea is to explain it to MPNP and just scanned the working visa of my husband just to prove them that he was an OFW, any suggestion? please I need it badly...thank you so much...

My view is, if you can get through to the company or former colleagues who can do a job description letter for you on the company's official letter-head couple with the work visa and his letter of resignation from the company, that should be fine. If not the letter of resignation as well as your own letter explaining this, I want to believe should be okay.

Hello everyone, i am just joining this post as i am a December applicant. Was just wondering if anyone can advise or suggest. CIC has received my application (AOR -Jan 25, 2013) and would like to know If I could go ahead and book an appointment with the doctor (on the approved panel) or should I wait until I get the Medical RequestFROM CIC? Also If any of you guys did medical already in manitoba, which doctor (from the approved panel) in winnipeg manitoba would you recommend? ::)

You have to wait for the arrival of the medical request email or letter from CIC or your visa office assign to handle your application.

Emperor has a good point. Company's official letterhead is a requirement of MPNP with contact number from the company's representative that's why I asked you to request it directly to the company.

Worst comes to worst, if you really can't contact the company, your husband may ask his immediate supervisor or anyone who can testify your husband's performance at work to sign the duties and responsibilities that your husband will prepare like what ad123164 advised. It should indicate the job title and contact number, email of that person.

Why not your husband make the "duties and responsibilities" on his own...on a plain sheet of paper (not on the that company's letterhead nor signed by any authority of that company)? If the Malaysian company will not provide such document, in my opinion It's OK for your husband to provide such work details. Anyway, he's the one performing those duties and the most authoritative in that company to provide such details. It's up to MPNP to check the veracity of those infos from the employer, if they wish to...just provide valid contact details of the Malaysian company.

if ever the company will not provide the requested certificate, we have no choice but to do that, we should provide the e-mail add and the phone number of the company if they want to confirm it, thank you all for the suggestion, it reduces our worries...I'm so glad I found this place... :)

we already e-mail the company, and no reply yet..tomorrow we will going to call his immediate superior if the company ignore our request and we decided that whatever happens, we will never falsify any docs, I put all this into God's hands, we know that His with us by knowing you guys..thank you so much!
