To senior members:

For CIC application, can I put the mailing address in Canada (my MPNP sponsor's address) in order to speed-up the mail travel? If yes, do I have to fill-up the form IMM5476 (Use of a Representative)? BTW, I have not received my LOA yet but just preparing in advance and being optimistic! ;D

As what I read, all or most of the correspondence will be through our email addresses, if provided. The only time that mailing address will be in use is when they will send back our passports with visa. Other members, correct me if I'm wrong. It will be faster to receive any updates from CIC through email. But, if you decided to give your sponsor's address as your mailing address then you need to fill out the USE OF REPRESENTATIVE form, excerpt:
Uncompensated representatives include:
friends and family members who do not, and will not, charge a fee or receive any other consideration for their advice and services;

Let's wait for other member's opinion.

Timeline updated.

May I know your VO?

Hi, I am now preparing for the documents for CIC. Have some questions that needs clarification:

1. Why is it indicated in the LOA that I need to submit the orginal letter to CIC though it it indicated in the doc checklist of CIC that only the copy is needed?
2. Do i need to pay for the RPRF right away together with the PF?

hello tweety is right.. better renew your daughter's passport before it expires so as not to delay the processing of your LOA..

Hi teacherdude, thanks for the suggestion too...we will go ahead in renewing her visa :)

Yes, Im under General Stream at MPNP

Hi bujing25, you're under GS but you have applied online (?) I know that GS applicants can only apply thru mail.
Perhaps this is the reason why you're sponsor didn't receive the SP2 request from MPNP and consequently the refusal of your application.

This is just my perception, senior members may give their thoughts as well...

I believe you need to wait for 6months before re-applying to MPNP.

Don't lose hope :)
