Please,help,urgent!!!Do I have to notarised my transcripts?Could I just upload original? ???
Dear,
When i was asked to provide the transcripts they specifically mentioned submit notorized copy of the transcript and also when we mailed them scan of notorized copy of the transcript, in reply to thay they mentioned to send the hard copy as well.

I would advice if you are submitting copy the notorize it.

Hi! I'm planning to apply to MPNP under the General Stream . I have one question though, my sponsors (friends) are actually a couple.
Do they count as two people? Or only one?
Both of them have jobs and their own home. Actually, the husband is my sister-in-law's brother.
Thanks and God bless!

As far as I understand based from my review of the General Stream section of the immigration kit, you need only one friend or distant relative.

However during my application both distant relatives were involved in the settlement plans.

If it does require two friends, then I would assume that despite them being a couple they would be considered as 'two'.

Correct me if I'm wrong peeps! :)

Dear,

I agree with nayeli couple is considered as two friends but under general stream now they need only one friend.

Thanks for the info! Hopefully, by early next year we would be able to submit our documents and I still have to take the Ielts.

By the way, I'd like to clarify that if you're already nominated by a province, are you still subjected to the quota of professional skilled workers imposed by the FSWP?

Because I'm a registered nurse here in the Philippines, and they will accept around 500 per year around the world?

Federal Skilled Workers program is a totally different Canadian immigration program from the Provincial Nominee Program. You do not have to worry about the quota imposed for the FSWP by the Canadian government if you applied for the PNP.
As you said you would like to apply under the PNP - General Stream category, that entails a different set of criteria for acceptance.

Best wishes

Hey guys,
I just received my LOA. I am under General Stream, finished post-secondary education in Manitoba.
Here is my timeline, hope it helps.

2011.10.01: Application submitted(directly handed in to MPNP office by a friend).
2011.12.03: AOR. Additional docs required.(missing deposit certificate)
2012.12.15: Additional docs received.
2012.05.30: Submitted additional docs for my new born daughter.
2012.10.26: Telephone Interviewed by an MPNP officer.
2012.10.29: Sponsor interviewed. (I dont really need sponsors in my case, but they interviewed one of my sponsors anyways).
2012.11.01: LOA received.

Any idea how long it would take to receive my landing paper?
