We finally received our LOA!!! :)))
What is the usual time from sending the application to CIC -> Medical Exam -> getting the VISA?
On the CIC website it says 12 months? Isn't that too much?

Btw, I just realised I never wrote our timeline:

Application Type: General
Application Submitted: MPNP office in Winnipeg
Date Submitted: January 13, 2012
AOR Received: May 30 (dated May 18, 2012)
Sponsor interview: September 20, 2012
LOA received: October 6 (dated September 30, 2012)

Now, let's hope CIC will be faster than 12 months stated on their website :)

can u kindly throw light on ur reply for followingq-
1 : A detailed paragraph on "How will I economically establish myself in Canada". It should be written by me & in my own words.

Hi

Thanks a lot for updating my info.

London High Commission has asked me to submit 3 things within 60 days:

1 : A detailed paragraph on "How will I economically establish myself in Canada". It should be written by me & in my own words.

2 : Proof of money i.e Bank Statements of my account showing transactions for last 6 months.

3 : Write in your own words about your work experience & describe exactly about what you did in your job.

All the best to you.

Congratulations !!!!!

A good news for GS 2012 applicants :))))))

I will add your timeline in our tracking sheet. To view it click on the hyperlink in my signature space. Did they ask for additional docs when you receive your AOR?

Good luck on your visa application.

hi friends ,
as MPNP requires following missing doc for my application...

1 Indian passport and school documents showing parents' name for your sponsor.

2 Letter(s) from your financial institution(s) demonstrating access to transferable, liquid funds and
assets.

just for point no 2:
My bankers (HDFC Bank and State Bank of Patiala) only issuing me two things...
1 the balance certificate(A Certificate that will shows only the account details and the current balance in my account)
2 Another is statement for 6 months

But they have not written any where that these are liquid or transferable funds ....... when i said them to write these words specifically ....they said this is our standard format..we ll issue only like that....

totally frustrated from system...these are the things that's why i have planed to apply for Canada...

are these two documnts from banks are sufficient for MPNP office ??
gurminder well im going to have my bank statements on wednesday i will let u know if my bank gives me that wording u can ask ur bank to give u as well. my bank is State bank of patiala.
how much i need to show for two people me n my wife ??? any idea in indian rupees????

Hi!
AOR means Acknowledgement of Receipt - I got this document by snail mail here in the Philippines 4 months after sending my application to MPNP.
LOA means LETTER OF APPROVAL - when our application has been approved this document will be sent to us, also thru snail mail.

As of now, I am waiting for my sponsor to be interviewed. I applied last January 2012 under General Stream, got my AOR dated May 30, 2012 and hoping to get my LOA soon ;)

Thanks ms. Teddy.

My sister sent my application in Winnipeg last june 2012, I havent still received the AOR.

Good luck for your LOA. thanks for replying.
