Good to know that they have started work on your application.

On the financial institution letter, what MPNP wants is to be sure that those funds are not encumbered and can easily be transferred when you land in Canada. Some countries have restriction as to transfer of foreign exchange abroad but don't think that is the case of India where you come from.

Kindly visit your bank and request for a reference letter concerning the account you operate with them and that the funds are liquid and can easily be transferred. A sample referennce can read thus:



BANK REFERENCE ON MR. XXXXXXXXXXX

We hereby confirm that Mr.xxxxxxxxxxxx has been our client for over xyz years and has operated the account satisfactorily during these periods. We also confirm that the balance of xxxxxxxxxxxxxx INR in his account are liquid and transferable without any encumbrances of any sort.

If you still have sufficient funds in your account you can request for an updated bank statement.

hi guys .... its gurmeet0729 again well unfortunately my application got rejected... now im applying again and this time im applying online... guys last time everything was alright ... my sponsor n me both had interviewed. but dnt knw who cald manitoba office n told them that we wont settle in manitoba after our visa has been issued. my brother went to their office but couldnt find that person but they allowed us to apply again without six months restriction so now im applying and filling forms by myself so plzzz guys help me if i have any prob i will ask u guys... im starting from today n hopefully i will submit my file in next week cox i have evrything ready.... just need new bankstatements .....thanks

Hi all,
could anyone make solution of my confution plz?

My sponsor s' interview has done a month ago and i m still waiting for LOR and i heard that MPNP office may call me as well. so i just really want to know how can they call me becaz there is completely opposite time differences between my country or Canada


I am so worried becoz from the last two days i got blocked miss call in phone at night time (8pm) . unfortunately, i was at work and i m not allowed to pick up phone at work. that tme i checked Canadian time and it was 6 am ......... so, can this call from Canada or not?

I have an update to my timeline below. They called my sponsor out of the blue and grilled her. They asked a number of questions and were mainly concerned that I might not stay in the province. They ended the call by saying that I'd still need to apply for a visa, but I will still pray for a positive reply.

I am reading the posts and I got confused. We applied under General Stream, the sponsor interview was 2 weeks ago, when should we receive the LOA? Also, I think I read on the official MPNP website that they will send the LOA to the sponsor and they will send it to us, but here I read that they send it to the applicant's address. So, where do they send the LOA to?

That's good, your sponsor was interviewed already. I believe that the last statement from the interviewer means that you will be given LOA since you can not apply for a visa without it.

May I know your mailing address, is it in your home country or in Canada?

I skipped that part and only entered my college education, transcript and diploma. I did not put an entry for secondary education. I also dont have an IELTS exam result since I did not take it. I have an English certification though from my school, and Certification from my company that I work in an English speaking environment.

I submitted my first application last January 16, 2012 by the time they assessed my application my working visa will expire on february 2012..Im a Filipina currently working in Dubai..Last february also I got a new job so when I reapplied last July 20, 2012 I included my current cert of employment from my new employer together with my IELTS cert (which I dont have before just I took the exam last May) and 3 months current bank account history (they asked for it because my bank cert was dated November 2011 when I submit my application last January..by the time of assessment its more than 3 months already)..

1 Indian passport and school documents showing parents' name for your sponsor.

2 Letter(s) from your financial institution(s) demonstrating access to transferable, liquid funds and
assets.

just for point no 2:
My bankers (HDFC Bank and State Bank of Patiala) only issuing me two things...
1 the balance certificate(A Certificate that will shows only the account details and the current balance in my account)
2 Another is statement for 6 months

But they have not written any where that these are liquid or transferable funds ....... when i said them to write these words specifically ....they said this is our standard format..we ll issue only like that....

totally frustrated from system...these are the things that's why i have planed to apply for Canada...
