MPNP Application 2012

I am glad to know that one of you got through to the interview. However, I saw that someone had compiled in a date order all those who received LOA; my question is, given that the MPNP takes approximately 6 months for the actual nomination. I submitted my documents 15 nov 2011 and got the Letter confirming receipt of it 1 march, does that mean that they start to count from 1 march 2012 or would they acknowledge the fact that I submitted my papers on 15 nov 2011 and count the 6 months waiting period thereafter.

Hello

I am also quite worried about my submitted IELTS Academic module instead of General module that they are requiring. I am just holding on to the email of MPNP as their response to my query that it is fine but that was before I submitted my application last February 17, 2012 and before the IELTS General module became a requirement.

I asked people on forum about it and they said that MPNP is only requiring General module since it is easier to get the required score. They also said that Academic module is more comprehensive and for professionals like nurses, etc., so it will be okay.

I am really hoping that when I get my AOR, my application will be considered complete and no other documents will be requested especially the IELTS General Module.

Well 6 months timeframe was true when AOR use to come in 40 days but now AOR itself takes 4 months so for LOA expected timeframe is about 9-10 months.

It is now a requirement for lower skilled workers.

EXCERPTS FROM MPNP ANNOUNCEMENT:

Effective immediately, lower skilled workers must include in their provincial nominee application test results demonstrating proficiency in English or French.

NOC C and D occupations include semi-skilled and low-skilled workers in the trades, primary and manufacturing industries, sales and services, as well as certain clerical and assistant categories.
Level C jobs usually require only secondary school and/or occupation-specific training.
Level D jobs usually require only on-the-job training.

You must score at least the numerical value listed for each category (listening, speaking, reading, writing). No other evidence of language proficiency will be accepted.

Concerning all applicants:

Thanks for pointing it out I missed that.

It was always preferred to do IELTS and include its result with application good now they have made it mandatory and with such low band requirement which I personally think any person wanting to settle down in Canada should be able to get.

For the IELTS requirement, this applies for new applicants (low skilled worker) only, right? but how about those who have applied already and waiting for AOR like us. Does this apply?

And is this for PA (principal applicant) only excluding dependents, like spouse?

Hi,

2. Visa Office : Abu Dhabi.

3. Got the mail from CIO on 02.02.2012
(This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Provincial Nominee Program. (Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).

Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.)

On checking the application at CIC website I found " We received your application for permanent residence on January 10, 2012. "
Please enlighten me on the following :

When I am likely to receive my MR from ADVO?

Is there any other procedure left before MR to be received?

Should I make a call to the ADVO for checking the status of my application?

Employer 1:- 1.1 years:- Letter of reference attached
Employer 2 :- 5 Months :- No leter of reference , only service Certificate Mentioning DOJ & Leaving, Designation & Salary
Employer 3:- 4 months :- No leter of reference , only service Certificate Mentioning DOJ & Leaving, Designation
Employer 4:- 7 months :- No leter of reference , only service Certificate Mentioning DOJ & Leaving, Designation
Employer 5 :- 1.5 YEars :- Letter of reference attached
