Hi BK i applied under family stream ... My file was submitted by my sponsor in winnipeg on 17/ jan/2012.
My wife is d main applicant ... N my sponsor is my first cousin( my father's sister son). She is a nurse and has 2.5 years experience in a govt. hospital Still working & got 5.5 bandsin ielts. Im still waiting for my AOR . Cheers

Dear Karambir,

Thanks for the info, well regarding timelines things have been changed little bit recently primarily from last year nov. As before that AOR use to take 40 days and then 4-5 months for LOA.

But now AOR is getting delayed because of the load. It takes 3-4 months for AOR now and then let's hope that same as before 4-5 months for LOA.

So in total it takes 9 months to get LOA now.

So let's pray things goes well.

DEAR BK;

MY FRIEND TOLD ME THAT THEY MPNP ARE NOW TAKING APPLICATIONS RANDOMLY ACC TO THE SKILL/ LABOUR SHORTAGES. EARLIER THEY WERE GIVING LOA ACC TO FIRST COME FIRST. IF YOU SKILL IS IN DEMAND YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF GETTING AOR IN 1.5 MONTH AND LOA IN 3-4 MONTHS AFTER THAT.

AND FOR REST WE SHOULD PRAY TO GOD TO GET THEM ATLEAST IN ONE YEAR .

BTW , DO YOU HAVE ANY LIST FOR SKILL SHORTAGES OR JOBS IN DEMAND FOR MANITOBA??

Timelines only differs based on the type of the application(stream). There is no further classification.

MAY 17, 2012 : Submitted Apllication Online
MAY 17, 2012 : MPNP requested my brother to complete Settlement Plan 2
MAY 18, 2012 : today i have Received with File Number

Yes Brother Its AOR. Because I have applied it online. It will take only 48 hrs after online submission of application.
at the same time my cousin have submitted his application by mail in dec 2011,he got his AOR on 28 april 2012.

Hello

I am also quite worried about my submitted IELTS Academic module instead of General module that they are requiring. I am just holding on to the email of MPNP as their response to my query that it is fine but that was before I submitted my application last February 17, 2012 and before the IELTS General module became a requirement.

I asked people on forum about it and they said that MPNP is only requiring General module since it is easier to get the required score. They also said that Academic module is more comprehensive and for professionals like nurses, etc., so it will be okay.

I am really hoping that when I get my AOR, my application will be considered complete and no other documents will be requested especially the IELTS General Module.

Lets Pray that IO should not raise any objection..

IELTS ACADEMIC is more Tough & Proffessional than GT.

So in my point of veiw They should not reject the better one..

Lets See.. You would be getting your AOR very shortly...
