Yes, you fall under the family stream I beleive and you can submit your application online for faster processing. In my case I applied online under FS. our sponsor is my wife's first cousin and I am the principal applicant and after 4 months our sponsor was interviewed and today we got our LOA. Good luck

Was your LOA sent to you or your sponsor. Looking at your timeline it has taken 12 days or thereabout to receive your LOA.

17 Apr 2012 - Online Application (FS)
18 Apr 2012 - AOR with File No.
24 Jul 2012 - Another AOR in PDF format
15 Aug 2012 - Sponsor Interview
04 Sep 2012 - LOA dated 23 Aug 2012

Your timeline has just been added. May I know if you mailed your application directly to MPNP Office or was it submitted by your sponsors?

As of the moment we don't know yet the trend for 2012 GS applicants. Last year, complete applications only took 6-7 months to get the LOA.

Let us hope and pray that sponsor's interview for GS applicants will be soon.

Its a yes....coz my wife is the principal applicant & our sponsor is my first cousin and we are also family stream.
