I applied for GS via an authorized agency here in Manila. My applicants were sent via courier and was received last sept 25,2012. My agency already made a follow up and still no response from Manitoba. They sent again follow up by email and gave a file number. I'm just wondering if that file number is for the follow up or already for my application?

Applicant file number takes this format MBXXXX-XXXXXX . If that is the number your agent got, then that is your file number.

Not necessarily. MPNP may still ask additional docs from you. In my case, a few months before they issued my LOA (Letter of Approval - this the the certificate of nomination) they asked for an updated bank statement, perhaps just to check if your proof of funds is still there. After submission, my sponsor got interviewed. My advice, always check your email.

hi guys, back to my love story, am getting married this june all becos of cic , am planning adding my spouse to my application(my LOA expires 30th oct), in which am going to inform manitoba about my change of status, cos i wouldnt want any issues. My question is that after been issued visa, How much time do you have to travel(i mean visa expiry date)? cos my sponsor said he cant accommodate me and spouse at the same tym..... :'( ....

Your PR visa is issued to expire on one year anniversary of your medical examination or the expiry date of your passport whichever comes first. But know that you as the principal applicant must land with your dependant. So if you go ahead and land due to what your sponsor said concerning him not being able to accommodate you and your spouse, after you have sorted the accommodation bit, you must return back and pick your spouse as she will not be allowed entry without you being with her since you are the principal applicant.

My previous post regarding paying online. My VO is CEM. I paid both PF RPRF at the same time...


I just did pay online with my credit card and I'm here in Jeddah. Everything went smoothly. I was issued an official receipt which I printed, filled-up and enclosed with my application package. Here's how to do it...

1. Go to CIC website.
2. Click "pay your fees".
3. Choose option "pay your fees online".
4. After some further info regarding online payment, 2 clicks away and you will get into the "Online Payment".
5. Choose "Immigration"
6. Choose "Provincial Nominee"
7. Fill-in the applicable "application type and quantity of applications" (RPRF is included in the list)
8. Click submit and then a Summary of Fees" will appear.
9. Click "Pay"

Then you will be transferred to a secured website to provide your credit card details. Just follow the instructions. It's the same as you are shopping online.

There's no harm trying it yourself to check until step 9. Unless you provide you credit car details, you will not be charged.

We acknowledge receipt of your application. Your file number is 11064.

Processing times bay by e volume of applications received.Please do not contact our office
To inquire about status of applications. We cannot provide this information.

Dear All,


Guys I would like to inform everyone that I recently received my AOR-MPNP last night, dated May 22, 2013, so far there is no statement that they are requesting for any documents, does it mean that my application is complete?.

@ wacky- you are right we're just in the same boat in waiting for our AOR hehe,


I really thank God for having my AOR now, I owe him alot and he is really gracious.

Correct! The filled-up official receipt shall be included in the application package which you will send to CIO.

Based on the rule, that is the requirement and you are okay. But I tell people to just top it up like say an additional $2,000 to a level of $14,000, but if you dont have you are go to go with $12,000.
