guys anybody from the Philippines? just want to know, how many months did you received your LOA after the date of the sponsor interview..thanks a lot

Hi! My sponsor was interviewed Feb 13 and I received my LOA in Manila March 21. So that's just a little over a month.

I need your valuable guidance for MPNP and Super Visa.

1. Now regarding MPNP Online one of my friend wants to put online file , what are things he needs to have handy prior to put put this file?
I am sure some sort of original documents needs to be scanned. So guys whoever did this please share your knowledge and problems you faced during this.


2. One of my friend is already in Manitoba for last more than 2.5 years. He wants to apply for Super visa for his mom and his mom is 75 years old.
-How can do so?
-What are the basic things needs to have prior this application?
-What are the forms he needs?
-Do he needs great source of income?
-Can he show his wife income to sponsor his mom?

Please share your views in this.

I think i have made a grave error while submitting my application to CIC NS. I was going through copies of forms and noticed that some of the forms submitted have 2011 or 2007 mentioned at bottom of forms. though i have sent all the forms and not missed any but i read somewhere on net that if any 2011 dated application form they can send it back. are you aware of any such scenario, my only concern is that no where in CIC website this is mentioned as kind of warning and also i noticed that there is no real change in questions too.

please advise.

CIC usually update the application forms and advice that applicants use the latest. Though there might be a grace period where they allow both the old and the new forms, in your case I believe the 2007 or 2011 forms is too far from 2013.

Let us hope for God's favour that your application does not get returned.

ADDTL DOCS Requested: 16 Apr 2013 (during the interview)
ADDTL DOCS Submitted: 19 Apr 2013
LOA: Still waiting

P.S. During my sponsor's the officer gave her email and phone number and requested the documents which shows that I received some training before started to work as an electrician.

When did you file your application with MPNP?

Was your LOA received in by your sponsor in Manitoba via courier before sending it you again via courier, as my understanding is that MPNP sends out LOA by regular mail and not courier. What date was it received from MPNP?

my sponsor received the loa so i just submitted all the needed docs to her and she was the one who filed for it and paid for my processing fee at the cio. and then on jan 4, 2013 she mailed to cio nova scotia and i got the aor last feb 5, 2013.. and then i got my medical request last marchh 28, 2013 together with the rprf request payment. i had my medical exam last april 2, 2013 and will pay for my rprf this friday.. kindly update my timeline sheet

is this way faster than sending it through Visa office in your respective places?

is there a way to approach CIC NS either through a call center or email to talk about AOR as in my case we have definitely exceeded average period and need to cross check about old version versus new version. Has anyone you know or noticed on any forum sending query before actually getting file number and successfuly got reply.
