I am newbie here in this forum. We almost have the same timeline. My sponsor has been interviewed by mpnp 2days ago, decision may take up to 2-3weeks to determine whether i am nominated or not..Can i have your email address or fb so that we can keep in touch?
Let's be optimistic, i am sure padating n mga LOA ntn.hehe

Same questions were asked to mine whereas my sponsors are my in-laws. In addition to those questions, they also informed them to wait at least 2 - 3 weeks for the letter, hopefully its the Letter Of Approval.... GOODLUCK TO EVERYONE

Thanks for that, there was a small problem, as in my sister was quite unaware of the interview as she did not have one, so she got confused about my current job designation, but in the end she managed, they told my sister that the application needs to be reviewed by one more case officer and the letter would be sent out in one months time, I am getting nervous, I hope I get through. What is your current status?

Hi, everybody,

I am very new here.
Can you say about the possible points at my status? It is urgent.
Edu: MS in Engg.(US-electrical),this year
age:34;work Exp(past 5 yrs):2.5yrs in US+0.5 year India.
French:no skill.English:Advanced as I belief(no official score, but worked in US)
kid:1(5 years age).
Spouse: age:24 yrs.
Edu:SSC(secondary school);didn't continue for an unavoidable problem.

I want to apply as a principal applicant.
Please give me your opinion.

I think it's all good in your case. The main reason why they're having the random interviews to our sponsor is for them to confirm their status, if they'd be able to provide support to us, the applicants, the time we get their... As for my status, "Anxiously waiting" for the letter from them (2-3 weeks from the date of sponsor interview)... More sleepless nights for us.hahaha well, all we can do is to pray and hopemfor the best.... Keep in touch ok?

I'm new here....here's our time line:

May 6, 2011 - received our letter of approval from Manitoba
August 11, 2011 - send our documents to Canadian embassy (Visa office Manila) Managers Cheque CAD $2,720 right of permanent resident fee via drop box
August 22, 2011 - received Acknowledgement of Receipt via email, requesting for additional documents education and work experience
August 31, 2011 - send additional documents to canadian emabassy (visa office Manila) via drop box

I would like to ask....usually how long will it takes to received medical request? is it via email also? it will be 2 months already this coming nov 1 since we submitted our additional docs. thank you in advanced!

Thanks for the support, it really means a lot, and I really do hope thats the reason why they have the interview, my sister and her husband are quite well established over there in terms of job and everything and recently bought a new house, so I really hope things really work out, and like you said, more sleepless nights for us .. .. btw.. when was your sponsor interview ? Hi mimzpink, i really do hope that our LOA is on its way na. Magkabatch pala tayo, nakakakaba sobra. first time lang to ng sponsor namin, she felt so nervous even after the interview. I was just wondering bakit minsan may interview ang applicant minsan naman wala pero whatever it is, basta si LOA dumating.. Goodluck guys
