MPNP APPLICATION 2011

Hi Everyone!

I'm still in the process of completing my application forms and documents, can I ask you guys how did you complete the MAPP Form, (Language Ability) there's a portion that asks: "Have you studied English as a Foreign Language?" , how do I compute for the "HOURS OF INSTRUCTION" kasi here in the Philippines everyone of us naman started learning the English Language since pre school diba? pano kaya magcompute? Need your help!

Musta na, anong latest update sa yo? Na-interview na ba ang sponsor mo?
By the way, do you know ba if after ma-send yung additional requirements, mag send pa ba ulit ang MPNP ng AOR indicating a new or permanent file number? Nag send kasi ako ng additional docs nung May 12th(updated letters of reference) but I received nothing after that...

Last step is sponsor interview? So kapag ininterview na sponsor mo sure na yun?

In my case i didnot receive any file no. after sending my additional docs,they only interviewed my sponser after tat.but it took almost 4months.

OO nga napansin ko nga din medyo bumagal sila sa pag interview ng mga sponsor natin at pag issue ng LOA...anyway, let's keep on praying and hoping...I know God will grant the LOA at the perfect time...malapit na, wait lang natin hehehehe...pero sa totoo lang nakaka-excite at nakakapraning ;D

My sponsor still waiting fo r the interview. I'm not sure if they will be sending a new file number after you submitted additional docs. Medyo bumagal ata ang kanilang processing. Hopefully makatanggap na ng tawag sponsors natin.

based sa mga post, pag okay yung assesment nila ng docs mo parang last step yata ang sponsor interview, after nun LOA na, if I'm not mistaken...sana nga ma-interview na agad mga sponsors natin at ma-release agad ang LOA natin...God is great and we must keep the faith

Contact the MPNP office by e-mail at immigratemanitoba @ gov.mb.ca at least two months before your visit to communicate your interest in undertaking an exploratory visit as well as your ability to meet all requirements.


my question is - is family in MB who's gonna sign settlement plan mandatory?

No idea - probably letter with expleination why you want to settle in MB, updated resume, English test results, achievements - stuff like that

got reply from MPNP officer:

If you have participated under the Exploratory visit it may not be necessary for you to have relative in Manitoba but to prove that you can support yourself once you immigrate.

What to do during your exploratory visit to Manitoba

During your exploratory visit the MPNP expects you to:

•explore opportunities in your field of work and meet with prospective employers
•consult with employers and regulatory bodies (if necessary) about your potential employability in Manitoba
•explore the housing, educational and lifestyle opportunities in the community in which you would like to live, including available employment and settlement services

If your visit has been approved by the MPNP you will have a scheduled interview, usually near the end of your visit. We will tell you your interview date when in our initial e-mail response.

During this interview you should be prepared to speak about what you have done during your visit to Manitoba and your plans for successful settlement in Manitoba including information about:

•the community in which you hope to reside, the places you have visited, the services you have learned about
•the occupation(s) in which you (and your spouse, if applicable) intend to seek employment, the contacts you have made to explore potential employment opportunities and any feedback you have received about your employability
•why you believe that you can be a strong candidate for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

We strongly recommend that you bring sufficient supporting documentation to the MPNP interview, including education and training certificates and employment references for both you and your spouse (if applicable) as well as any supporting letters or other documentation resulting from your exploratory visit.

No, I didn't send request for interview at exploratory visit, this is my backup plan if my Quebec application failed ;D

dear
i have submitted all my info to an immigration office on the internet and they said im eligible to apply under the Quebec Skilled Worker category of immigration but im surprise for that decision coz i dont speak french at all .
my advice to apply for easier provinces like manitoba if u think u will not get their score
dont waste ur time
i have applied for general skilled worker since 2007 and wait for 3 years and got refused
if i applied to Manitoba im sure i can get it coz MPNP score is less than general skilled worker
u didnt tell me where r u from if u dont mind ?
