Hi! I hope somebody can help me w/ my present ordeal...
I am planning to apply in Manitoba ( that's under General stream)... Although I would like to ask for your help bec. I have some concerns and these are:

1. Work experience: I graduated nursing last 2007 but haven't got any job related to nursing but I am also a graduate of Fine Arts majored in advertising and had practised it for 4 and a half years (from 1997 - 2001)-- Will I get any points from any of these courses/work experiences? Will I be eligible enough for the program?...

2. Common-law Partner: I am planning to apply together w/ my bf ( i am the principal applicant)...but the problem is he has impending civil case due to an accident on the road ( the other party seems to make out of money from the accident) which makes him scared of joining me in applying thru MPNP and this is the sad part for us, we cannot move on to our plans. Will this again be a hindrance for possible approval/nomination?

3. Docs: Is it possible that we do not declare any of my bf's impending civil case or will the embassy require him to submit any police clearance even if he is not the principal applicant? What do you suggest us?

4. Should we wait for the civil case to be finished or do you suggest that I send my application first asap as to start the processing and bf will follow later...? What do you think?

5. Is point system very important to General Stream??

Thank you so much for your time reading my post and extending a hand.
I hope somebody will help us as to what should we do...Please. We will surely appreciate it. God speed!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi
Good Day!

I am trying to answer to your questions -

1. Yes you can get points from your education/job experience as its meet both requirements (Graduate with at least 2 years and 4+ years full time work experience. ), So you are eligible to apply.

2. If BF/GF relation is officially recognized (need valid and legal documents to prove the relation) in your country ONLY then you can apply together for MPnP. Otherwise you have to apply separately.

3. Hiding you bf's civil case will not be a wise way. Because, after getting MPnP nomination, both you have to submit police clearance and then its comes in front of the authority that you hide the civil case, hence as principal applicant you may be declined.

4. This is the right way that you apply first and after dissolving the civil case your bf can apply then.

5. yes, you have to obtain minimum 55 points to apply for MPnP.

Thanks
