I submitted my EOI on October 2016 and my score is 560( 8.0 IELTS, and sponsor is my aunt, NOC 2174 )
But from Sep 2016 under the Overseas Skilled Worker stream they've been issuing LAA to the Strategic Recruitment Initiative candidates and normal candidates like me have been left out.
So I just want to us if you guys have any insights about when they will reopen this stream for candidates like me? especially beginning this April, they will be making some serious changes to the program and my chance of being issued LAA will be further diminished, is that correct?

No one really knows for sure but it will most likely be by April 2017. The MPNP process is being restructured and the target date to conclude the processing of the current backlog is end of March 2017. 560 is a pretty good score under the current system (I have seen applicants with much lower scores receiving LAAs) so you will likely be selected at some point when the next regular intake of overseas skilled workers resumes.
