Manitoba could be getting an extra 500 highly skilled workers in 2015 thanks to the federal government's Express Entry program starting in the new year.

The province has been allocated a maximum of 500 potential immigrants to endorse from the national Express Entry pool.
That 500 is separate from, and in addition to, the allocation of 5,000 total nominations Citizenship and Immigration has provided to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for the year.
 
Guys I have question my parents live in Winnipeg.I m living in Saskatoon.my parents want to sponsor my brother sister.is living separate with my parents create any trouble for sponsoring my brother sister. Any help is appreciated.

Can anyone put for basic start up help and recommendation for MPNP 2015 ? this category also gone in the express entry ?

Hi Nick111!

Which category are you referring to?

So far, there is no update yet from CIC and so with MPNP. So at the Moment the program stays the same until we receive the much awaited update from CIC within this month, except of course for the additonal 500 Immigrants to be approved for Manitoba via the Express Entry scheme.

Therefore, all we Need to do is just to sit, wait and pray that all will be the same or better yet, be improved in favor of the would be immigrants!

Thanks, I am planning under family support stream. do you have any idea still I Could apply or not ? i was thought to apply under EE2015 but i have other option as well since my real uncle hold PR in Manitoba for more then 12 years and he can help with any documentation so i thought to apply under MPNP family support. so start to understand the procedure. :)any inputs highly appreciated. Thanks

Nick111, i think your plan is good. EE 2015 on has 500 Slots but the MPNP have 5,000. So, I think it is best to go for the MPNP under Manitoba Support stream since your Connection is through your uncle.

Thank for the link but at present they have suspended the program and will be reopen in January hopefully. anyone has any update on MPNP 2015 ?

2014 Application Intake is closed for all skilled workers except those whose assessed connection is Manitoba Employment or Manitoba Invitation.

Lest Discuss little bit off the topic,

I have told by one of my friend that, If you move under MPNP applicant then you could not be able to move in other province for minimum 3 to 5 years. from manitoba.any one has some information on that ?

Hi Nick, actually, as what I have read, you have to stay in Manitoba for the rest of your life as that's the purpose of nominating an applicant, to reside and work (settle) within the province and contribute to ist economy.

DEar Znarfier,
lets assume, if i could not able to find job in manitoba in 1 or 2 years and after some time I got job in other province, I could not able to move there? there should be some law support applicant otherwise its like a punishment :o
 
Greetings everyone! I have a query hope someone could answer. I'm preparing documents for my application to MPNP this coming year. I already have a bank certificate dated October 27, 2014. Is it still considered current if I submit my application by January 2015, or do I need to get another one? Thanks!
