Hello friends!

Got our passports back with the visa today --- 21st July 2016

Please check my profile for more detailed info. It took exactly 12 months from the provincial stage to CIC stage.

To GOD be the glory! I'll be forever grateful to GOD!

GOD bless us all and good luck to those who are still waiting for their visa! Just pray and everything will fall into place and will be completed like a puzzle!

Hope to meet most of you in Canada soon... ;D ;)

Hello dearest friends!

Its been awhile since my last post in here. I have been very busy juggling work and personal matters like most of us here, if not all of us. So please accept my apologies if I can no longer reply to queries here in our forum as well as the private messages you sent.

Anyhow, I hope all is well with your respective applications. My warmest congratulations to those who have received their visas and good luck to those who are still in the waiting game! Don't worry as long as you have read and submitted all the required info and documents, you will eventually get your visa. So just keep praying and everything will be fine, in God's perfect time!

Speaking of God's perfect time, recently my family and I safely landed in the land we've been dreaming about --- CANADA! We became PR on 27th March.

We had our landing in Edmonton, Alberta. Everything went smooth as there were no long queues in Edmonton. The landing process took approx 30 minutes for us, a family of 4. No hard questions. So when your time comes, just relax and enjoy the moment. ;)

Upon reaching the airport, at the border control, I informed the immigration officer that we are new immigrants so she told us, "Okay, please go directly to the luggage area, get your stuff and proceed to the office to your right. I'll wait for you there so we can process your PR." Then the rest as you know is history. ;D

GOD is so GREAT folks! Thank you LORD! :)

Saw your post after really a long break. Congratulations and good wishes for your new life. Hope all of your are doing fine there. You were from first batch of MPNP. Why did you landed at Alberta then? Will that be okay with your immigration procedure?

Hi znarfier,

I have received LAA and now I am in process of sending application. But as I filled up my employment details, it showed the following error in the last tab "Review & Submit":

""Your total years of full time working is less than as was specified in the EOI-SW (see 'Review EOI-SW' in Review & Submit).""

In my EOI-SW, I answered that I worked 5 YEARS FULL TIME in past 5 years. While filling up the application after receiving LAA, I found that if I enter the data as follows then it shows the above error:

example not working but it's factual dates:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 23-09-2013 to present

But if I use the following details and overlap the dates of both jobs then the above error is not there.

Example which is working but not fact as the dates are overlapping:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 22-09-2013 to present

So can you please advise whether you faced any of such problem or if you have any solution?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm having the same issues now. What did you do to push thru with your application? Did it work?

Help! :)

Thanks in advance!

I am in the same boat as you are

Hi Dell,

Put the dates that the system will accept and upload an explanation letter in the « Other » category. Officers will verify with the employment letters and further investigation if required.

Sincerely,

MPNP

Hope this post can help a lot of applicants in this website. God bless us all! :)

Hi.
For my EOI, I've calculated my 'work experience in the last five years' including the 6 months of my ongoing employment here, in Winnipeg. I guess it's the same thing you have done, am I right?
If yes, what would be this "explanation letter" that they required you to upload? Do you have a format of this letter?
Thank you!
Best Regards,

Hi,

Sorry for the late response.

Well as for me, I just composed a simple explanation letter including the reasons why I moved the end dates of my previous employments just so the system could accept my input. I also attached the email I received from the MPNP support team regarding the matter.

Hope this helps!
