Thank you Vagaur! I appreciate your response!
Happy New Year! Good luck!

Happy New Year idiana & Vagaur!

Just wanna add on Vagaur's response. I believe that the "Express Entry" application is only applicable for:
1. Those who applied directly through "Express Entry"
2. And for those who applied via MPNP but at a later stage of their application, the MPNP advised them to apply through "Express Entry" if interested.

Thank you for your e-mail. Your file is in process. Once the assessment process is completed, you will be notified of the result by e-mail. MPNP cannot provide a time frame for how long the process will take.
Sincerely,

Please, any response from 2015 applicants? Those that applied thru EOI? ..... Wow!!! What da hell!!!

Good day everyone! Hope all is fine..I have concerns regarding the Certificate of Employment or Reference letter. I am working overseas as a Seaman. I have a local agency in my place. They (local agency) are responsible for liasing with the Employer which is a company from other country. My question is, would the COE or reference letter from my local agency be eligible (provided that it has all the details like job descriptions, salary, working hours, signature, etc.) as a requirement for MPNP??Thank you! :) :) :)

I have a dilemma and hope the community give me some ideas to help out with my document. My supporter in Canada is my cousin. I'm wondering how am I able to prove my relationship with her? Is it through birth certificate? If it is through birth certificate, it's only showing her mom's name and her father's name. Her mom is an older sister of my mom, but passed away over 14 years ago. Then how am I able to prove her mom is sister with my mom? Anyone has any idea? Thank you so much!!

Hello All!

I was reading a forum and seen one post who also applied for full application. She said their application was screened again because of her answer on EOI. I just wanted to ask how I can update me EOI? I already received an LAA and currently processing my full application. However, I was confused with my answer on EOI. For this specific question "
Do you have official test results indicating you have language proficiency in Canada’s second official language at CLB 5 or higher?"

I also answered Yes, because I thought that the question is referring to French test or IELTS test result. I have taken IELTS test but not the French test. So I wonder how I can edit this. I am worried this will affect my application. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi! You shld have answered No to the question if you have not taken the related test for French proficiency. I have known someone from another forum who had the same mistake. She pushed through with the full application and was advised thereafter about her mistake, not sure if she was advised to create a new EOI. And then she waited to receive an LAA again. Not sure if she received another one now. In reference to this case, you may consider declining your LAA because you were not yet supposed to receive one since your score was overstated by 25 pts due to an error in answering questions in the EOI. Hope this helps.

Hello! Thanks for the advise. I have already declined my LAA and was advised to create another EOI. Hope will be included in the next draw since my points decreased by 25 pts. :( Hope there will be a draw for this month.

Thanks!

Hi Mark!

You are correct! COE from your local agency will be good. One of my previous employment was through an agency and on the particular Job, I uploaded a COE issued by the said agency and not the company I was working with during that time.

Good luck & GOD bless!

I agree to sis Louise0324's response.

Read here:

Language skills in Canada’s second official language: Your second official language for the purposes of the MPNP is considered the official language of Canada, English or French, in which you are less proficient. You should ONLY indicate that you have language ability at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 or higher in Canada’s second official language if you are in possession of a valid language test as proof.

For example, if you completed an English test for your first official language, in order to receive points for a second official language, you must provide proof of a valid French test (TEF) that meets CLB 5 or higher. If you completed a French test for your first official language, in order to receive points for a second official language, you must provide a valid English test (CELPIP or IELTS) that meets CLB 5 or higher.
