It is a great idea that we can shear our progress through the MPNP

I scored 610 points
I submitted my EOi on May 7th
got invitation to apply LAA 21th
submitted LAA June 29th
Application file number July 1st
SPP2 2nd of July
send by my supporter 15th of July
confirmation for SPP2 16th July
now pray to God and make future plans - as all we do))))

Well, this time around, only the suporters are being interviewed. It used to be supporter and applicant... let's just be prepared!

I'm a plumber and I practise in Nigeria, a country in africa.
I have my trade test certificate and my certificate of apprenticeship.
I filled the EOI form and I answered "YES" to the "License and Trade/Profession" regulation question.
I have been sent the LAA since the 13th August 2015 now nd I have all my supporting documents intact but there's a problem about the licensing aspect, in the LAA sent to me, there's a paragraph that emphasises that applicants should refuse/reject the LAA if u don't have a license that is recognised in manitoba.
I enquired from the MPNP by mailing them and here's the reply I was sent;

"Thank you for your e-mail. You must be licensed in Manitoba in order to answer yes to that question on the EOI. If you have answered yes
and do not have the supporting documents, your file may be closed for misrepresentation. Please research your trade in Manitoba on the internet and determine if its an occupation that is governed by a licensing requirement. If it is, there will be an association that has a website and will provide information on licensing requirements.

MPNP."

This reply is confusing because it didnt state if it wont be possible for me to be licensed if am outside canada or not, so am confused if i should simply reject the letter of advice to apply or go ahead with the documents i have with me. i already searched for websites who can provide infos on licensing requirement and i cant find any. The only ones i found was just fro the assesment of my trade.

im seriously confused and i really need serious help right now because i dont want a case of misrepresentation which could eventually lead to my file being closed and might end up in bans on future applications. Moreso i just have 37 days or thereabout for the deadline to submit a full application.

For MPNP-Overseas applicants... when will our application status change from "Received", "Assessment Pending", "Assessment in Process" and "Assessment Complete" ??? :-*

Any takers?

I know that none of my fellow applicants will have the sure answer except the insiders themselves... MPNP assessors ;D ;D ;D

Any guess? Who knows you have the right answer there!

As far as i know it purely depends upon your connection to manitoba and the profession you are in. I had a friend he applied in November 2013 waited till April 2015 he got no response he applied for study permit and came to winnipeg in May 2015 on study permit updated his MPNP contacted with MP here and got his sponsor's interview done by the end of June and still waiting for LOA but his profession is teacher back home and that's the reason its taking long time for him. I pray you guys won't have to wait that long as its under new process of EOI.

Can you share how did you come up with such guess? Do you have any reference like a chinese calendar perhaps? LOL

Yeah, it really take ages for some... sad to say... but no matter what most got rewarded with positive results after waiting for such a very long time.

I assume that my application is in the same boat as those regular/average overseas wannabes who're lucky enough to receive the nomination within the normal time frame for this sector.

Hello Guys,

Finally Received LAA yesterday, After Decline my first LAA with some confusion. Anyways

Today, when i log my Profile i was directed to Eligibility with some Questions it is normal ?

I have started with the Eligibility, based on the Application i have to mention the country of residence ?

Well, I am working overseas now so which address should be mention it should be overseas or my original country of residence.

Looking forward to hearing from your guys ..

Don't worry, if you look at the timeline of our pioneers they all waited roughly 6 weeks to have assessment pending to in progress [inland applicant]. If I were you, I would be super excited and because the interview call may arrive next minute! Please keep us posted if there's sth happened
