MPNP’s new immigration policy on Feb 2019

I met a fellow MPNP applicant on Facebook telling me that next year starting on February, MPnP will delete all EOI and applicants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis just like Nova Scotia. She told me that her supporter went to MPNP office in Winnipeg and was told of the future changes. Anyone heard of this news?
