MP follow up 13 months passed application

Hello Guys! Just an update, yesterday we went to our MP to follow up the cause of delay of our application (13 months passed-June 6, 2013). Luckily, this morning the MP representative called and informed us that according to CIC our application is almost complete and waiting for the final review of Criminality. But last April 28, 2014, we applied for GCMS notes and it was stated there that the my husband (principal sponsor) passed the Criminality. But no notes for me and our children since we did not applied for the consent so we can't access for our status at that time.

Question, is it our Criminality status (me & children) that they are checking?

Also, the MP rep advice us to call him if still no DM yet until end of August and wait further more weeks before we applied for BOWP otherwise he said we can go for Implied Status instead while waiting for DM.

I highly recommended to seek help of your MP with the 13 months passed application because CIC immediately pay attention and give feedback to the MP representative.

Unfortunately, you have to be in Canada then you can contact your (Canadian Address's) area's MP to get an update.
I am not sure if your authorised person can contact to MP here or not. But it seems like very unlikely.
