MP Congratulatory letter

I became Canadian citizen a while back. However, I haven't received any congratulatory letter from local MP. Just curious, in how much I can expect to get it? Is it normal if no such letter is sent?

I got mine after 6 months; rest of the family didn't get any, even after three years.

Yeah, I never got any. My MP clearly doesn't care for immigrants in my riding.
