Winnipeg is good city, not crowded or busy like Toronto. IT job market is good, depending on your skills set you will get it sooner than later. Lot of job openings in Govt sector for IT. People are friendly here. I live in South part of city and i like there. Look for south east or south west and south part of city. Don't live in downtown even its cheap, its not safe for family.
