Moving to QC after landing in Ontario - what to do for health card, license etc?

Hi there,

My husband US got his COPR mid July and will be landing in Canada end of August. We didn't apply for QC CSQ (because planned to continue living in ON), but now it seems likely we will move from ON to QC in October.

Is this going to be a problem?

Any advice on how to get health card, drivers license? Is there any point in starting application for OHIP and then switching to QC health care? Or should we just wait to apply for QC until we are established in QC?

How soon after landing does he need to get a Cdn drivers license?

I believe you will need CSQ and is better to apply for one to make things easier for you when you get to QC
