Hi,
I am an international student who is studying ESL program in Regina.First of all I would like to share you my Canada story.I started studying ESL at private college in Vancouver 2011 September. After completed ESL program at private college in Vancouver I moved to Regina in March 2012. My first study permit was from September 2011 to June 2012 and second one I got from July 2012 to February 2013 and I have received my last study permit really short March 2013 to 28 June 2013. I was enclosed conditional LOA from SIAST but immigration office gave me short term study permit. In May 2012 I registered ESL program at University of Regina. I completed one semester ESL program already. Now I am at last level of ESL and about to finish it.But I am struggling and feeling that cannot pass it.Result, I cannot get English proficiency through University.I do not want to face with bad consequences. My concern is that what if I go back to Vancouver and get LOA from one college regarding Business program.Do you think I may get 4rd study permit if ı go back to my previous province to study there ? I would like to hear opinions ,please.
Thanks

1. Study permit is not granted to study ESL.
You were so damn lucky to receive Study permit for ESL.

If the course is in a classroom setting and at least 6 months in length, the OP needs a study permit.

Seem I need to rephrase my statement that I am currently living in Canada and I am planning to go back my previous province Vancouver where I came to study at first time and I am planning to continue my post-secondary education in Vancouver due to English proficiency matter in Regina. So, if I go back Vancouver and get acceptance from one college in 1 year Business program with Internship.Do you think I can extend my study permit? I am asking this because I am just worried that immigration office may think about my case in wrong way. Before something bad happen I would like to get some good suggestion about my situation.
Thanks

ESL is not considered as Full-time studies.
And International Student are granted Study permit to study Full-time..
Yes you can go to previous province and start a new post secondary program
For extension you will need,
1. New LOA
2. Bank statement showing around $10,000
3. Transcript of ESL.
4. You must write a letter to explain your situation because VO will surely think that why you're studying ESL from sept, 2011 . As because ESL is mostly 4 months course.

I hope it helps.

Good Luck.
