Hello,

Does moving to another city (out of Ontario) help one to get a hearing earlier?
Has anyone had the experience of moving to Alberta and getting a hearing sooner?

Thanks.

No it does not. Right now all cases are redistributed through whole Canada. So even if you move to Nunavut, you will not get faster hearing.

What do you mean by redistribute cases throughout Canada? If Quebec has 20,000 and Saskatchewan has 4,000; do they send some people from Quebec to have their hearing in Saskatchewan?

No they do not send people from one province to another. But they do take hearings by video conference, where the judge could be from different provinces. So even if you move from one city to another it doesn’t help.
