Hey there, I have a query about moving to Quebec. I'm a duel citizen Australian/Canadian who just moved to Banff for the first time 4 months ago. My original plan was to move to Montreal after the season here. I've just been told today that Quebec has its own visa? Could someone please help me understand this? And does it affect anything if my mother is originally from St Jean, Quebec and it is through her that I'm lucky enough to have Canadian citizenship? thanks for your help!

If you are a Canadian citizen, then you can move anywhere you want to in the country.

Haha, Quebec may sometimes think they are an independent nation but they are still a part of Canada.

They do have their own selection certificate for immigrants who want to immigrate directly to Quebec from the outside but they still can not stop any existing PR, let alone citizen from moving to Quebec if they want to.
