You need $18k for proof of funds to immigrate that does not include biometrics, ECA, IELTS, TEF, medicals and application costs. Canada has provinces so need to look at social assistance to see if eligible. Social assistance is not enough to live on. Insurance is through your Canadian employer (if they have a health insurance program)Oh Ok senior parent.
Yes, I want the permanent resident card.
I don't have $18,00.
Even if I research by city of state it's still going to hard to get my son what he needs.
Maybe, with the insurance and some state funding but even ....
Permanent residenceWhat do you mean by PR?
If you don't have 18k in savings, then immigration to Canada isn't going to be feasible.Oh Ok senior parent.

It varies from province to province. Google "in demand jobs" and the name of the province. Health care occupations (nurses, etc.) are generally in demand. STEM is generally in demand. Medical billing isn't really in demand at all because our health care system is so different from the US.what are the jobs in demands?
How exactly will you be able to work? Your child will end school mid afternoon and age out of special education at age 21 where you will be expected to be their full-time caregiver. I think your expectations of Canada are extremely unrealistic. You seem to be expecting Canada to provide free care and an affordable life with social supports which is not the reality.what are the jobs in demands?
