Currently holding a PR, wanted to move to Canada from USA via land. Does someone know of good shipping service in USA ? Need to pack a one bedroom apartment.

well, congratulations on your move? Which state are you moving from and where to ? I had gone through a mover aggregator website to select one that matched my needs. it was through atlas van lines. Secondly, you might want to see if there is things that you really need or are you able to dispose stuff and come in using the extra baggage option. shipping can get expensive too.

We had used u-pack a few years ago, found their service reliable. They drop-off their container 3 days before moving date, and were very flexible with timing during delivery as well.

Just a side note from savings perspective - If you have found a job before moving, you can claim all the moving expenses on your tax returns. This includes payment to shipping company, hotels/meals for family, gas expenses, tolls etc. Just remember to save all those receipts.
