First time visiting the forums. We are Citizens of USA. How is the process to apply to be a resident of Canada (BC), getting work permit, etc. Which are the steps to follow.

The process of applying for permanent residency is the same regardless of your country of origin. Canada has a number of different immigration programs. Suggest you start by researching the Express Entry program. Details here:

If you want to come to Canada as a temporary worker instead, the first step is to secure a full time job offer with an employer in Canada. The next steps will depend on what kind of job you secure (i.e. what occupation). Have you already secured a full time job offer with an employer in Canada?

No, we have not applied for a job offer. We are just in the process of deciding and gathering information that we need in order to take the first step.
